At Arden’s Gallery we specialize in Fine Art. We like to feature local Houston artists but also carry artists from accross the nation. We take pleasure in helping clients to find the right piece of art, which they will want hung on their walls for years to come. Our artists include Ted Cowart, Ken Elliott, Sunny McKinnon, Laurent Boccara, and Denise Jansson.

History

Established in 2014.

Arden’s Gallery in River Oaks grew out of our parent shop: Arden’s Picture Framing & Gallery, in the museum district. Arden’s Picture Framing has been a Houston institution since 1959. In 2000, Arden’s Picture Framing grew to include a small art gallery in the front of the frame studio. In 2014, Arden’s Gallery was formed to give Houston another place to view art in a larger format and to give us the opportunity to introduce more artists to the public.

Welcome! My name is Amanda Hoak and I am the Gallery Director at Arden’s Gallery. I grew up working in the family business at Arden’s Picture Framing. During that time my love of art developed into an appreciation and eventually into a passion. In 2000, Arden’s Picture Framing became Arden’s Picture Framing & Gallery enabling me to increase my knowledge of art and sales. With our artists becoming more and more popular and increasing demand we decided to open a new space completely dedicated to Fine Art.

If you would like to come by the gallery I would love to have the opportunity to introduce you to the art of some of the artists we carry. My greatest passion is for introducing others to art and helping clients to find that piece of art that completes their home.
