Amore Reflexology

I love coming to this location for a massage! You can’t beat the price. I’ve been a handful of times, but tonight I had (Long) and it was the best massage I’ve had in awhile!
I called around 5pm on a Saturday and asked if they had anything before closing, and they didn’t, so Carrie scheduled me for the next day. Not even an hour later I got a call from her saying there was a cancellation and she got me in! She’s super friendly and nice. It’s beautiful and clean inside.
I was extremely relaxed tonight! Can’t wait until next time! :)

I’ve visited here twice now and both times have received an excellent massage for the price. The second time I was fortunate enough to get a massage from the much raved-​about Ben. He is outstanding! I find Amoré much better than a certain competitor down the street which shall remain nameless. I will be back!

I had Michael and he literally fell asleep several times during my massage. It was terrible you could tell he did not want to be there from the minute he touched me. When I told the owner she said «Oh he hasn’t fallen asleep on a customer in a while but he is probably bey tired because I haven’t given him a day off» I was shocked to say the least and now I feel bad for Michael. The owner did come out to my car after I told her I was writing a Unilocal review and gave me a free 1 hour massage. But I probably will never use it because this place is kind of sad.

this is a bit of heaven on earth… I love Ben… and like lots of the other reviews stated… Carrie is so accommodating… I have recommended Amore to many of my friends and they are believers too… just scheduled another session for tomorrow :)

I highly recommend coming here. Everything and everyone is amazing! I stopped getting mani/​pedis and daily Starbucks so I can come here more often.
Carrie up front is so nice and helpful. All the massage therapists are great. You just let Carrie now how firm and she will direct. The rooms is relaxing and calm. I travel a lot of work and this place melts away the stresses of airports and time changes. 6 stars!

Love this place!!! Such a great deal for the price. Even better when you recommend someone… you get $ 5 OFF on your next visit! This place is nothing fancy (sinple décor), but friendly, clean, comfy and convenient!

I went here today after my friend, Allison, recommended it to me. It was great! I fell asleep twice which has never happened to me before during a massage. If you’re used to Trellis, Fiori, etc, this is different. Not better, not worse, just different. You’re clothed and in a giant chair for starters, but it’s great and if you’re a little adventurous, you should try it! Beware, there was some gluteus action and it was awesome, so if you don’t want that you should say something beforehand. I had «Michael» and he doesn’t really speak English so maybe tell Carrier the woman at the desk.

Great experience. Massage was excellent. Personally, I think I prefer this method. The reclining chair (which lays flat for back massage) is much more comfortable than a massage table.

The best massages ever and you cant beat how reasonable the price is! A must if you are in the area))))

If you have never been to this place you MUST run and go now! hurry! One hour of the best reflexology i have ever had. its so quiet in there and the chairs are amazing and the music in the background is so serene. The owner carrie is wonderful and knows everyone by name. the second they hit my feet i am out cold. i love when i can get there and they have great hours too for all types of the busy peeps. i get my daughters gift certificates every year there. love this place. when i find a great place in houston i will rant and rave and tell the world and im telling you amore is where its at.

More! More! This place is great. Therapists have different levels of intensity, so if you know you really want deep tissue/​trigger point work, you will want to specify at the time of your appt. I thought Jason was very good.

I went to Amore Reflexology for the first time this past weekend. It was wonderful. Professional and friendly staff, wonderful ambience, very clean and the chair was very comfy. I almost fell asleep. The massage began with my scalp and worked down… the reflexology part my feet greatly appreciated. I will definitely return and recommend them.

After complaining to my fiancée and his mother about my recent shoulder pain, my future mother in law suggested I try out Amore Reflexology. Booking an appointment an hour before on a Monday at noon proved to be a breeze. The receptionist was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was greeted by name when I arrived and I must say I was nervous when I first saw the rather empty and scantily decorated reception area. My first impression was that it looked like a stereotypical nail place trying to do massages. Uhoh. But I was proved wrong! Once I was escorted back to my chair, the lights were dimmed nicely to create a serene ambiance and soft music played in the background. I appreciated the nice baskets they had at each station for my personal belongings. The towels on the chairs appeared freshly laid out and everything seemed clean and organized.
They helped me in to soak my feet and got me settled under a blanket. First they massaged my shoulders, head and arms while I was on my back. I will pause here to say that you remain fully clothed. There were times the masseuse lifted up and pulled down the clothes to better massage certain areas but all in all you stay in your clothing (I wore my Lulu Lemon capris and v neck with strapless bar so my shoulders would be bare)
This was my first time doing reflexology and I have to admit, I didn’t do much research on what the techniques entailed. Plus this place didn’t have any reviews yet. There is a bit of stretching that they incorporate into the massage. I do a fair amount of pilates and other exercise classes so I didn’t mind this part, but boy did I feel it! I could see others being bothered by it you’re not the most flexible person. A few times, some of the massages came very close to more intimates areas, which I could also see as something that might make certain clients uncomfortable.
After my shoulders, the masseuse moved down to my feet. Imagine the type of massage you get with a really good pedicure but extended for at least 15– 20 minutes. I enjoyed this but if I had my way, the whole time would have been spent on my achy shoulders (when I made the appointment they said you had to have the feet part though they could focus more of whatever area you told them for the majority of the session).
Then I flipped over on my stomach for the back massage. I only had to ask once to go softer so if you like a deep tissue massage you would LOVE this.
As write this review 9 hours later, I am definitely a bit sore especially on the front of my chest and the arches of my feet, but my shoulders feel much better. The masseuse definitely worked out the kinks I came in with. A little soreness is a sign of an effective massage right?
For $ 35 you can’t beat the price for so much massaging in 60 minutes. I did not feel rushed and the the experience was quite pleasant. You also get $ 5 off if you refer another client. The manager/​receptionist asked who referred me and she said next time she comes in she will get the discount (while she wrote down my name, I’m guessing my mother in law will need to remember to say that I came on her referral so she gets the discount)
The location is convenient and parking is plentiful. I think I was the only person there today, but if I ever were to come on a busier weekend, I would prefer to have a friend sit next to me, not a stranger! I’d also like to try a female masseuse which is what was originally recommended to me, but today they only had male. Amore is definitely worth a try especially if you are on a budget and not too self conscious.
