AMLI Uptown

I have lived here for 8 months, love the staff, always attentive to our needs, willing at a moments notice to lend a hand, very understanding when it comes to requests that I am home during visits to my unit to be assured my dog is kenneled, and not having to fear people coming in. Neighbors in the building are 90% fantastic.. All places have a few that won’t clean up after pets or actually carry their trash to the trash rooms. we have trash pick up I just don’t use it.
I really appreciate all of the staff and love the easy parking and the great atmosphere.

For one month solid every night starting at 10pm outside my bedroom window where a table sits at the pool I have had to listen to eastern nightly gathering loud conversing and radio program until 11:30pm sometimes later and having to awake at 6am to go to work. I’d take pool partying any day over this lack of respect for others. Professionally this sucks and is so rude on so many levels. Yes this is galleria area It’s in a great place. But-​Not worth it. I’m tired and not staying here another round of 30 days. Diff not permanent home material!

Management is great! Prompt to respond to any questions I had via email/​call, and they organize fun social events for the apartment complex. Great location for shopping, eating out, and did I mention it’s right across the street from the Galleria Mall! Safe and beautiful property!

No property this big in Houston is a perfect community, you can’t fix to have a problematic neighbor as they are everywhere. However what I value is the interest of the property management team to address the issues and that is what I have found to be good in this property. They aren’t good only to get you in a lease contract but to ensure that you are as satisfied as possible. I consider the location to be great and convenient and has options to avoid the Galleria traffic, never being a issue for me. I hope the property management continues to maintain the focus on ensuring the best service possible to its residents!

I have been living here for 7 months. The property is ok; however, the garbage collection service at your door, makes the common areas smelly sometimes. The service of the staff is fine; however, I found deeply disappointing that despite having instructions in my file requesting that no one could enter the property unless I am present, this was not followed through. I was sent a letter last Friday while I was not home, advising me of some routine maintenance and despite having requested in multiple occasions to be present when someone comes in, they decided to go ahead and entered the property without my consent. I do not understand what is the purpose of having these type pf instructions on file if no one will read or pay attention to it. What is more, what about privacy? It feels that anyone can enter the property at any time and I do not think that this is right…

Do not move here unless you like noise, smell, and filth. We lived in a corporate apartment here for 3 months. The property staff invites food trucks every week to park in front with noise levels above Houston city ordinances. The trucks create constant, jarring noise and filth from garbage, and block the property entrance so that vision is impeded and cars trying to get in or out of the property often honk because of near misses from accidents pulling out. The street the complex is on is surprisingly busy and noisy, with lots of traffic cutting through to get to office buildings, and noisy garbage trucks twice a week. Moving trucks appear most every day (just for this property), and there appear to be few settled tenants and lots of transients. In the first two months we lived here the fire alarm went off five separate times, with the building evacuating, and the appearance of Houston Fire Dept. is a regular occurrence. There are constant smells in the building from cooking, stains all the way down the hallway carpets from leaking garbage bags that tenants leave in front of their doors nightly for complex staff to dispose of, and a lack of security. The electronic key access has been broken twice while we were here, with outer doors blocked open all weekend so that anyone can get in. The appliances, etc., in the kitchen do not vent properly, and we can clearly hear people in the apartment above us walking around. Maintenance staff really does not know how to fix problems, and we have had numerous visits to repair things that we finally gave up on, and repaired ourselves. In my opinion, this place is good only if it is your first apartment and you don’t know any better, and only if you want lots of noise and action.

I am a vendor and I love coming to this property because the staff is so receptive and professional. Customer service is definitely huge at this property! Highly recommended.

I’ve lived in a few apartment complexes and never really left with a great feeling. ALMI Uptown is the first time I’ve rented and not felt taken advantage of. Sarah and the rest of the staff in the office are very helpful and attentive.
The apartment itself has a community atmosphere and is managed very well. Maintenance requests were resolved by the end of the next day. The online resident portal, even though a minor detail, is by far the best I’ve used and made it easy to make sure everything was taken care of. Plus, the availability of a short-​term 3 month lease was ideal. Little things such as the weekly food-​truck/​community event updates were a nice touch. Only complaint is that people in my hallway were blatantly smoking indoors (and keeping their doors open!), and they seemed to continue doing so even after bringing it up.
Oh, and PARKING. There are enough spaces in the garage, and the spaces are sufficiently sized so you won’t get dinged by your neighbor. Management doesn’t have to enforce draconian towing laws due to lack of space. Not having to stress about finding a space is a huge relief when you live across from the Galleria where people pull knives over parking.

We have lived here since it opened and have had a wonderful experience. The management team here are always hosting events for us and making it feel like home and a close community. When we have a service request, they fix the issue the same day if not within the hour! If you want to live in a prime location and be part of a great community, this is the place to be.

I have been living at this property since it was first built in March and I have had nothing but a great experience with Dustin and the staff here. The people and community of residents are nothing that you will experience anywhere else. I have lived all over the world and I have never really met my neighbors. This is the first place that I have lived where everyone knows each other and we have a good time having BBQs and hanging out near the pool. If you want a sense of community and a family environment this is the place to be. Not only is this a prime location but I also have the best neighbors from all over the globe! Amli Uptown is a diverse place with the kind of people that you would feel comfortable inviting to your house at anytime.
