This place is great and really affordable, I come in and Becky does an amazing job! If you are in need of lashes this place is an awesome place to go. I’ve been to many places before and they were very expensive. Amia is very affordable.

I went here for four months (wanted some lashes for the summer months and now taking a break) and overall had a great experience. I’d definitely recommend requesting one of the better technicians (the first one I had was new and didn’t do so well). I always ask for Kim (but from other reviews sounds like Tina and Becky are good too).
When I went they had a promo deal for $ 75 for first-​time lashes. Then they price based on how many weeks you wait to get refills: $ 25 after 1 week, $ 35 after 2 weeks, and $ 45 after 3 weeks.

My lashes looked great and received tons of compliments for them. Planning on going to back to them for lashes for the holidays.

I normally go to Amazing Lash Studio in River Oaks but I recently moved very close to this lash studio and decided to give it a try, it has been over 3 weeks since my last refill (I was busy with the moving) and I’m disappointed, I think my lashes are mediocre, I’m used to each lash getting love and my lashes being full but this time it wasn’t. Also when I got home 5 mins later to inspect my lashes, 3 fell out :(I’ll come back for a refill in a week in hopes they get it exactly how I want. If not, I’ll just have to go back to River Oaks. Besides that pricing is reasonable and staff is very friendly.

My eyelashes done by Becky weren’t bad I’ll give her the 1 star for that, but she said my eyes were too big which is why the stickers they put on your eyes cut my eye which is the reason I am in an urgent care faculty now. How the hell is a person eyes too big? If they are too big for you to put the stickers on then they are too big for the eyelashes to get my money! If she would have taken responsibility for what she did then maybe it wouldn’t be so bad, but I’ll never go again now I have an urgent care bill!

Stylist: Tina did a good job, i was so relaxed i fell asleep but I have a few complaints.
Negatives:
Scheduling:
— I tried to make an appointment on Wednesday but they told me that they would call né back and never did. I had to call them on Friday.
Lashes:
— My lashes are uneven on the outside edges because Tina forgot about 5 lashes on one if my eyes. I got a full set on Saturday so I will contact them Monday to see if they can fix them.
— one of my lashes is crooked so it pushes and clumps a group of them together.
Charges:
— Though I pointed out that the promotion on the website said $ 79 and showed her the website i was charged $ 89. She refused to change it and I’m not confrontational so i just left. That wasn’t right of them. I will see if they can explain the charges to me when they fix my lashes.

— The venue is clean and aestically appealing. I made some friends in the waiting room. :) The work area is cold but they give you a blanket to keep you warm.

This place is awesome! I have been going here for 10 months and am pleased with the service and my lashes look amazing. Initially before coming here I was interested in getting eyelash extensions but what deterred me away from it was the price. I read reviews and seen pictures of other locations and was not truly satisfied. One day at work one of my best customers came in and her lashes looked FLAWLESS! I asked her what type of mascara does she use and she said these are extensions. Honestly, they were really natural looking, very full and curled perfectly. She said she came to amia lashes and gave me the number. I booked an appointment the very next week with Kim and got the medium lashes. I loved them because they looked like my natural length with mascara but just fuller. Everyone at work compliment me on my lashes and asked what mascara do I use. I told them they were extensions and they were surprised they said it looked very natural. After a while I decided to switch them to longer lashes which is even better! Lol I am obsessed with lashes and it’s starting to become a new trend. Lashes in my opinion are lovely, they make you look more feminine without the need of so much eye make-​up. Even my boyfriend says by best features is eyes and thats what he loves. Ladies, you will not regret it! This place is great and Kim and Tina do both a great job and they are very sweet. This place is so amazing!!! Tina is the one who used to do for me and I definitely love my eyelash. She’s really patience and such as a sweet girl. I would like to recommend this place.

This is the worst experience I have ever had for eyelashes extension. Tina, I am sorry, you are such a sweet girl, but your work sucks. I cannot blame you for all this to be frank. The glue and the mink lashes were very low quality that irritated my eyes ALL NIGHT LONG!!! Within 3 days, half of my lashes with the extensions on fell off. It took me 2 weeks for my lashes to grow back. Here is my suggestion, don’t trust any feedbacks or comments, or just go to a random place you found on the internet. Trust your own eyes. What you see is what you are getting. When I saw one of my girlfriends eyelashes, I soon know that’s the lashes extension I am gonna get for myself, too. Seriously, not until you see the good lashes extension work in person, and find out where she did it, don’t try it!

I really like their work; everyone always thinks my lashes are beautiful AND natural! Unusual business space (an office bldg) but still manages to be comfortable. I’ve had to wait out in the hallway several times, but the technician is always apologetic. Scheduling is usually done via text for me. The price list is what confuses me; it says after the 5^th visit you get $ 5 off. I’ve been here way over 5x but have never been offered this small discount. Other than that, I highly recommend this business!

Amia, itself, is no frills and is located n an office building. Kind of wonder if the eyelash technicians are even certified to apply lashes here.
If you are looking for:
–rude service
crooked technicians that lie to you when you request for a particular technician and say that they’re booked, but they really arent, they just wanted to steal you away as a client
–glue and chemicals in your eye and them reassuring you that that’s «normal»
–upcharging you for mink when it doesn’t feel like mink…
–lashes that dont look even
then you should get your lashes done here.
The technician I was always visiting no longer works here, Thank God! She was the only one who knew how to properly do eyelashes and the absolutely only reason I’d go here. Wouldnt even recommend this place with a group on or Unilocal deal. You get what you pay for…

I just had my first experience with eyelash extensions at Amia, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The reason I’m giving three stars is because they were not above average. First, when I called on the phone they quoted me $ 79 and when I went to pay the charged me $ 99. Her response when I asked why, «Oh, honey, I gave you good mink ones. Other ones cheap, they last two week». Ok, well that would be nice to know up front. Second, Tina, who did my eyelashes, made them longer and more full on my right eye. I would rather try another place for refill.

I love Amia lash!!! Becky is wonderful! She takes her time on my refills, if I have any questions or concerns she will address them and she is very friendly and knowledgeable. My lashes get me so many compliments and really give me a finished look which is important since I don’t wear makeup. They do have TONS of clientele, so book appointments well in advance!

Absolutely love my lashes, I believe Kim is who applied them! Natural and so soft. The Service was great, even after being 30 minutes late they waited for me and were very friendly. The quality of lashes, service and price is very worth coming to Amia for lashes!

I am a pretty picky person, but I also not made of money so I needed to find a place that satisfied both of my requirement. I have to say at first impression, I was thrown back a little because it is located in an corporate building but as I enter the place there was a dainty sincere feel to the business and that only way they can survive is word of mouth. After my experience, I am definitely recommending this place to my friends, Becky did my lashes and they turn out beautiful. Full (not sparse), even from the tear ducts of my eye to the end of my lash line, and length was proportionate to my eyes. Becky has over 4+ years under her belt which explains why she is quick and knowledgeable. The tech at Amazing Lashes are fresh out of school and are slow and half the time, they even mess up. I had to go back to get it fix because I was that dissatisfied. I gave them a chance twice, even though they fix the problem i really don’t want to be in there for more than 2 ½ hours. People who think Amazing Lashes is great must never had lashes done before, so that’s why people think its «AMAZING» but I know lashes and I know quality work.
Becky finish me up in 1 hour and 15 min which is reasonable for the amount of work she put into my eyes.
Also the quality of the eyelashes, I got the upgraded one for a small fee and they are much more natural, lighter in weight, does not seem plastic and does not irritate.
They even have groupon, but I suggest you call them first before purchasing the groupon because they have in-​house specials too, I usually call before buying groupons like nails or massage because availability is a big priority to me and if you can’t get me in soon, then I won’t buy it.

The salon itself isn’t anything fancy. I was hesitant to come here because I have been going elsewhere for 2 years, but my mom told me to give this place a try. My former lash technician left the salon I was going to so I decided it was a good time to give a new place a try.
The extensions here are better quality and last tons longer than my last lash place. Lana is very meticulous and I never leave with my eyes being irritated. I like their prices here better too.

I used to wear falsies all the time but due to work, i had to take another route for a more natural look. i originally got a coupon for amia lash and it was about $ 69 i believe. i called and made an appointment then went in to the building in which they have an office held. my lash lady’s name is kim and she is super nice and wonderful. i got the full set, which was gorgeous and super natural looking. and every two weeks i go in for a refill of $ 35 each time. i always ask for kim because she seems to do a great job. it’s also super easy to make an appointment as well, they always try to squeeze me in as i have a difficult work schedule.
as for the lash extensions process, it does not hurt. i’ve heard that it can be irritating to others but for me it was completely fine. i always fall asleep while getting mine done, it’s the perfect time for a cat nap! :)
i’ve tried lash extensions at lash co. and many other places, which were absolutely horrible! i am so glad i finally found a place in which i am satisfied with, and i am VERY picky.

Lash extensions used to only be available to the rich and famous. Now it seems that lash studios are popping up everywhere. But beware … they are not created equal. I’m excited to report that I found my go-​to lash studio and lash artist.
I was referred to Amia after I had a bad introduction to lash extensions at another lash salon. My first set was cute from afar, but had large clumps of glue that looked like I had used too much mascara. Within a few days, I lost a lot of the lashes, but was left with the clumps. It wasn’t attractive at all. I asked around and found that several of my friends recommended Amia.
Fortunately for me, Lisa took care of my lash crisis. She took the time to unclump and remove the unsightly globs of glue and gave my lashes the care and attention that they really needed. Lisa didn’t just add lash extensions on top of bad extensions, she removed all of the unsightly clumps and started from scratch. She applied individual lashes to my short stubby lashes, using the tiniest amount of glue to make them look extremely natural. After a brief nap, I awoke to see my new lashes. While the extensions add length and fullness, my lashes look really natural. No more lash curlers and mascara for me! I’m hooked and will definitely be back to see Lisa again. She is a true professional and takes a lot of pride in making sure that your lashes look beautiful.
The studio is located in an office building behind Papa John’s on Gessner and Westheimer. The studio is clean and quiet and the staff is extremely friendly. If you are in the market for lush lashes, I highly recommend Amia Lash Studio.

I used to go to a very well known lash studio off of Westheimer Rd. that has just fallen in the last year since they expanded. I was devastated because I knew it would be hard to find another salon that was trustworthy and affordable.
After much research, I found Amia Lash! Becky, the stylist, is so sweet and very skilled. It’s definitely much smaller than the last studio, but I think I prefer it that way because I don’t worry about not getting an appointment. The fullset was only $ 100 for the higher quality lashes, and it took her about 2 hrs. No tugging, no pinching, just blissful napping. She always says «Goodnight!» before she goes to work on my lashes.
What I love most is how she prices her refills. The less time between appointments, the less the refill will cost. For example, a refill 4 weeks from today will be $ 55, 3 weeks will be $ 45, 2 weeks will be $ 35, etc. Very smart set up.
Still, this is something I can only afford for a few months. This brief period is shortly followed by a deep depression as my naturally lame eyelashes return. But, in the mean time, I’ll look forward to my next splurge, knowing that Amia Lash will take care of me when I have money.

I was looking for a place to refill my lashes and I came to Becky to have them done, because the last place I was at was raising their prices, and I didn’t like way the application was done. With Becky, the application is relaxing and I was able to actually fall asleep during some parts of the process. My eyes don’t burn as much and she made sure of that before letting me open my eyes.
My eyelash refill looks really natural but full and beautiful, and my friends are always asking if they are real or not. When I find a good place to go for my beauty services, I stay. I can say for sure that I will definitely be coming back for future refills at this studio!

I stumbled upon this last studio and it was FABULOUS. The price was great and the service above and beyond what I expected. I’ve had makeup and hair professionals tell me how great and natural my eyelashes look. I will be a returning loyal customer that’s for sure!!!
