History

Established in 2010.

Marcus Wagner founded AcctTwo Shared Services in 2010. His background as an auditor for Price Waterhouse Coopers taught him first-​hand the benefits of outsourcing back office accounting processes for large firms. As a founding member of Calvetti, Ferguson, and Wagner, a Houston-​based CPA firm, he then saw how smaller and mid-​sized businesses could benefit even more from outsourcing these processes.

In 2010, Wagner founded AcctTwo Shared Services, and established the company as a leading channel partner for Intacct, a leading cloud-​based accounting sofware provider, as well as a provider of outsourced back-​office processes.

18 years of experience working with large, medium and small companies in the areas of financial accounting and auditing, process and internal controls consulting, and management advisory services. Wagner’s career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where I spent time in the financial audit and risk advisory practices. He was a co-​founding partner of Calvetti, Ferguson & Wagner, an accounting firm. He is currently CEO of AcctTwo Shared Services, LLC, a business proces outsourcing firm for middle market companies. Wagner holds a B.A. from Rice University and is a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A. — Texas).
