ABC Bartending Schools

Bartending has always been something I wanted to do as a side job. At first I was a bit skeptical because other people stated Bartending school wasn’t necessary and if you worked in a restaurant they would prefer to teach you their way of doing things. I went ahead and signed up for the class anyway and I’m soooo glad I did. Signing up was easy and Boogie (owner) emailed me right away with all the needed information. They have different class times/​locations and seem very flexible! I started the morning class at the Chimney Rock location yesterday and I’m enjoying every minute of it. Jason (instructor) is awesome, very energetic about teaching and knows his stuff! The classroom is a bar setting to give you the feel of the «real world» environment and the class members are small in size. I love most that everything is HANDS ON & that’s the best way 2 learn! Lots of studying but so far so good. I’ll try to post a follow up in a few days.

Very fun school, it almost makes you feel like your working at an actual bar with the music & the set up. Everything is hands on even while they teach which is awesome because I’m a hands on learner. & they do a little quiz (no grade) just to help you out see what you don’t know yet & what you need to work on. It’s my first week so I’m a little rusty but I’m getting there –ranicia

Forget the other review on here. Everyone is friendly and a lot of fun to listen to. The students are all a lot of fun as well. You learn a broad spectrum of thigs, and you get to laugh and have fun while doing so! –1 star … (it’s colored water disguised as kool-​aid in liquor bottles) shhhs! great price worth checking out.

I think if there was a way to give a place negative stars, it would apply now.
I am not a student, and never will be. When three people told me what an unprofessional, horrid nightmare this place was, I unfortunately thought there was a bit of exaggeration perhaps.
I accompanied one of these friends when they were going to stand in line for their t.a.b.c. What I heard and saw from this «instructor» was revolting. There was a young lady ahead in line that sadly did not have her documents and was trying to use fakes. Yes, this is not allowed, I understand that. But what was completely unnecessary was the way he proceeded to humiliate her in front of every single person in the room. He also used the word «wetbacks», heard by whoever was within earshot.
I am not there for the classes, but from what is reported they are no picnic either, with profanities making up 90% of the «teacher’s» speech.
Why would some place take your money only to put you in the hands of racist, unprofessional imbeciles? I have no idea. But if you care slightly about being treated like a human being, and your peers, you will not give a cent or a second of your time to this dump.
