Visited Houma for the first time the other day and had a nice lunch here! We started with the margherita flatbread. It was really good although the extra dusting of salt and pepper before serving made it almost too salty. A lot of our food was a tad bit on the salty side.(The au jus served alongside the French dip was too). My friend had the aforementioned sandwich and I had a club with roasted potatoes. The potatoes were really good. Soft on the inside but crispy on the outside and seasoned well with some kind of herb/spice blend. The sandwich was ok. The ham and turkey slices were thick but it was a bit dry and lacking in bacon.(For my taste lol). Overall it was pretty good and they have a nice view of the bayou, too.

This is such a lovely place. Everything we order was delicious. We had the ceviche, the soup of the day, and the steak. I can’t complain about a thing. It’s sad that Houma can’t appreciate a more fine dining place. We will be back! I hope business picks up for them.
