Horsham Family Golf

This review is solely for the mini-​golf. You don’t want to see me try to actually golf (though I’ve heard that if you want to learn, this is the place to go.)
Mini-​golfing is one of my favorite activities, even though I am average at it. I think some of the holes are pretty challenging, even for those who are really great at it, like my husband. Some of the courses need some maintenance and are a bit rough around the edges, but for $ 7, who really minds?

My family with three young boys met friends and their young children one afternoon for a fun day out at the mini golf course. Needless to say our experience was ruined by the staffer working that day.
At first, while we were waiting for the other family, we waited inside the «pro» shop. Our boys were curious and interested in looking at the golf clubs and practice putting green. But they were being fairly well behaved and not touching the clubs. As soon as the boys stepped onto the indoor putting green, the worker on duty rushed over to force us to wait outside despite the «pro» shop being devoid of customers.
After waiting outside for a few minutes, we went back to the clerk to pay for a round of mini golf and get our putters. Each person who was playing grabbed a ball and started to play. My 18 month old son was fascinated by the colored golf balls and insisted on carrying them from one hole to the next. Within a few minutes, the worker marched out to the course and ripped a ball out of my young toddler’s hand supposedly because we were trying to steal it or take extra turns. Now without enough golf balls for everyone to play, we had to «prove» that we were 1 ball short to get the ball returned and continue playing.
We will never return to Horsham «Family» Golf and instead go to nearby places that are actually welcoming to families.

In addition to Rick’s services, Horsham family golf also has a driving range and mini golf. The mini golf offers challenging holes and is one of only a few places to play in Bucks County. The driving range has a good spilt of outdoor and heated indoor stalls. Reasonably priced buckets and the largest jumbo around!
The pro shop is stocked with the latest equipment from all of the top brands. All of their prices are competitive with the big stores. Why buy from the big corporations when you can get the better service from a locally owned business?

Truly disappointing. The entire course was completely dry, had no water where there should have been water falls, streams and miniature ponds laid dried up cruddy concrete slabs. The weeds were growing over the entire course and I found that the course was hazardous for small children. wooden slats missing from the bridge which could cause the children to fall over into the concrete holes where the water should be. missing bricks beehives actual green duct tape holding the Greens together, just a complete mess. I feel like it was a total rip off. don’t walk, runway… it’s a shame cuz the staff seemed to be pretty nice overall. Bottom line don’t waste your time or money

Went here on a Saturday night and it was $ 7 for 19 holes… that is a decent price if the course is in good shape, which this one wasn’t. For some reason, all the water was drained out of all the water features on the course which just looked horrible. The course was just in bad shape overall. The holes would have been fun to play if the atmosphere could have been a bit better.

There really aren’t many mini golf places to choose from anymore in the bucks area which is a little saddening. The cost was $ 6 per person and there were I think 18 holes.
The holes were actually pretty difficult. The main thing my family and I didn’t like was the borders of the mini courses. Because there were gaps in the bricks, or missing bricks, our balls would sometimes get stuck or get completely lost.
They have a driving range that looked pretty cool.

19 holes for mini golf. The adults and kids all had fun playing it. The courses are all outdoors with no shades (some trees). Prepare to put sun screen and have water for the kids. It can get very hot. Overall it was fun but I wish I also had time to hit some balls at the driving range. I would come back.

I had the chance to stop by this facility after a meeting in the area. I miss the convenience of having a golf range near my home… and never get enough time to practice the game I get so much enjoyment from. As I was just a dozen or so balls into my bucket Rick stopped by my stall. In the course of just about 10 minutes he had me try two tips that improved my swing exponentially. Wow! I’ve studied the game for 25 years… and 10 minutes of an expert and I’m reinvigorated to hit the course. The vibe of the whole facility is relaxed but serious golf. Great stalls… quality range balls, and the huge bonus of an incredibly teacher roaming the grounds.

This is a fantastic family owned (and family friendly) facility that caters to ALL golfers. Everything from miniature golf and driving range to expert lessons and golf club sales and fittings at reasonable prices.
I was searching on line for a new set of irons, but ended up getting «fitted» for a set here. Fair price along with «great value extras» that you can not get when buying on the internet. I was blown away by the personal service and great value.
Ask for Rick (owner) about lessons and club fittings. This guy is an expert on equipment with his own Philly radio show on the topic. He know what he is talking about. a great place for lessons as well with a phenomenal staff…
For all of the research I had done on line, it was great finding this place so close to home. Overall, it ended up being a significantly better value doing biz with these folks.
