Wow. This is as creamy as ice cream gets. Fresh papaya, bananas in sweet cream, and many other yummy treats. This place is a gem. Warning…if you’re on a diet or worried about calories… don’t come here. Bring cash. No credito! Very firendly, and English is not the native tongue. Nancy is very new to the states, but is very friendly and helpful.

We came to Memphis for Labor Day weekend and searched high and low for good ice cream for over 24 hours. We FINALLY found this place and we were not disappointed! This place has quite a few regular flavored but also some that are different and wonderful! The homemade, creamy texture was exactly what we were looking for. I’m giving this place a four only because it was a bit messy on the inside and didn’t have enough seating for everyone who wanted to sit– we did come on a Sunday afternoon in September, which may be why it was so packed. Don’t let it stop you from coming!

Every flavor I’ve tried I’ve liked. They give you huge servings and the price is great. I’ll definitely be back.

It’s just like the one in Memphis, which surprised me. I didn’t realize they were all a chain. I thought it was like some restaurants which have similar names but aren’t related. Anyway, I got the German icecream, thinking it’d be chocolate(A Quinceanera party was there so I didn’t want to make them go back and forth just to give me a sample) and while it wasn’t it was still decent enough for me to finish. Even when you get something you normally wouldn’t like, it’s still great enough quality to finish! Disliked: — The German

Oh my goodness– we are talking DELICIOUS ice cream! Fresh made and exciting flavored; very fairly priced. Be sure to sample a couple of flavors, you may find a new favorite. I had a coconut/caramel/fudge swirled flavor I will be having sweet dreams about. If you love rich, creamy ice cream don’t miss this treat!

Based on the other Unilocal reviews from the Summer location, you all should have known I was going to give this place five stars! However I am excited to be the first one to make a review on this location :) First let me start off by saying there was a slight language barrier, but since I am friends with the language line at the hospital I didn’t have a problem with that. I attempted to ask the very nice lady behind the counter how much it would be for 10 popsicles. I was impressed when she whipped out her iPhone and called one of the girls from another location who was more fluent in English and allowed me to speak to her. «Buy 8 and get one free» that was the deal! There were way too many flavors for me to choose from and choosing 8 just did not seem like a great idea to me because I would’ve eaten every single one of them in one sitting! So I decided to leave the popsicle counter and go over to the ice cream counter, where she allowed me to sample some of the best ice cream I have ever put in my mouth((DROOL)). She gave me a medium-size spoon in which to sample, not those dinky little pink ones that you get from other area shops. I chose to sample Mexican cake and the one beside it, which turned out to be almond coconut Sea Salt caramel – or something to that extent – which felt like heaven in my mouth! Oooooo the creaminess!!! I decided to order a small one of those to go, then I went back over to the popsicle counter, where I started from one end and went to the other making selections. Kiwi strawberry, coconut, Cherry, & strawberries and cream. I thought I better stop at 4, but the lady was so kind she threw in a butter pecan for FREE just for me to try! Mmmmmmm YUMMINESS! I’ll have to be completely honest, the coconut was my fave, but they were ALL delish! La Michoacana, you just adopted your new best customer!!!
