DARS has good intentions and helps save lives and I can appreciate what they do to rescue animals and help the community, HOWEVER I cannot appreciate ripping a loved one from a safe, loving family whose been taking care of him for 3 months with no advanced warning or notice or reasons or answers and then neglecting to communicate or respond when contacted. Our puppy Stewie was taken away and we hope that Desoto Animal Rescue Society will do the right thing and retrun him to his rightful owners who he loves, trusts, and wants to be with FUR-​ever.
