Unreal. I just moved to the area and needed someone to take a look at my Jeep, so I did a little research on Angie’s list to find a mechanic. This literally happened 5 minutes ago. I called and the owner, Howard, answered the phone. I asked him how he was doing, you know, because I have manners, and he responded by saying, «Not that great considering I have to deal with a**holes all day, and you’re just another one of ‘em». Then he hung up on me! THAT was the conversation. Not only do I hope this guy loses his business, but I hope he also finds a new home in a padded room at the loony bin, where he obviously belongs. Unreal!

We have been taking our cars to Minnetonka Auto Service for over five years now. With two young drivers in our family and four cars in our fleet, with two of them older cars, we have had to schedule several routine checkups and maintenance visits. We have been very pleased by the service that Howard provides, and we trust him to faithfully diagnose issues and repair what is appropriate. Costs have been reasonable each time.
We will keep returning, and are thankful for findiing someone we trust to keep our cars running smoothly.

Why does it seem that finding a good mechanic is hard to do? It was almost the most painful thing about moving here… I lost my guy that I trust.
Minnetonka Auto Service is hard to find, so be sure to google it first, but it is worth the work. Howard is smart and trustworthy. Here’s is what I loved.
–Free loaner car for the day.
–Estimate was best I found.
–Car was done early.
–Actual costs were less than the estimate.
–Honest feedback about what work I should do now and what can wait.
Anyway… these are good people. I’ll be sure to update my post if my car craps out anytime soon.
