This salon offers a disappointing experience. The rooms are not private, and there is extremely limited seating. Brides come out to a small communal area and if there are more than 6 people in the room it feels very crowded. Brides may only choose 5 dresses to try on per appointment, and the sizes available are all quite small. The consultant we had should not be working in bridal. She was neither friendly nor polite, and seemed irritated at having to help our bride. She was overheard complaining about the size of our party(6 total) and didn’t offer any suggestions of styles or designers to try. She also tried to pressure our bride into buying immediately, telling her she could only have an advertised discount if she bought today, rather than by the later date indicated on salon signage. This salon also doesn’t allow you to take photographs of the dresses, even at the time of purchase. We watched another bride leave without buying a dress because the attendant wouldn’t let her text a photo to her mother, who couldn’t be present. They claim you cannot take photos because of the designers’ requests, but other salons offering the same designs allow and even encourage taking photos. Don’t waste your time at this uppity, overpriced, and frustrating salon.

Horrible. I would not go back. The employees were rude. I overheard them on multiple occasions talking badly about customers. Was told our tuxes would be there on a certain day(earlier than usual) because we had a destination wedding. After we ordered everything and had our groomsmen fitted we found out that it was not possible to get them that early. Funny how they will tell you what you want to hear to get you to spend your money there. Then when the tuxedos finally came in I think 2 out of the 13 were correct. One of the groomsmen’s pants were up to his knees…

Heartstrings was able to get me in for a gown fitting the same day I called, which was really great. Vana helped make the experience unforgettable as she quickly recognized my style and suggested even more gowns to try. The boutique is in an old victorian house… very charming and romantic; the perfect setting for a bridal shop!

Awful, awful«boutique». The employees were completely rude from the moment we walked in. They were totally unprofessional and ungrateful. The dresses were outdated as was the interior. Don’t waste your time unless if you are desperate for an outdated and cheap wedding dress.

I’m suprised I’m the first to review! This shop is under new ownership within the past few years, and it’s fantastic!(I read some tepid reviews about past owners…) ANYWAY, I purchased both my wedding gown and bridesmaids’ dresses from this shop. I tried on dresses during the day on a Thursday and had the place pretty much to myself! They had a great selection of bridal gowns, largely under $ 1500. I ended up with a Mori Lee that I LOVE for even less. My bridesmaids, as it turned out, also selected a Mori Lee gown. The staff was great with all of the orders and tracking down the bridesmaids(and their measurements) for me. They even warned me to get my orders in before the prices went up at the beginning of the year! This little shop is definately worth a stop. I believe they also rent chair covers, tuxes, and other items, but I didn’t use any of those services, nor did I look into them.
