Orthopedic Massage:

An orthopedic treatment designed (by Dr. M. Ongley and Dr. J. Cyriax) to alleviate pain arising from injuries to soft tissue. Soft tissue injuries are most common in the neck, back, knees, ankles, and wrists. This service is a physical assessment and treatment aimed at significantly reducing pain over the course of several visits.

*Like all of our treatments, orthopedic massage is designed to be relaxing and soothing, but at the same time offering the benefit of treating chronic pain.

Ohashiatsu:

Ohashiatsu is a nurturing method of touch. Like other Eastern therapies, Ohashiatsu manipulates the energy within the body and uses a framework of Eastern philosophy. However, the emphasis of Ohashiatsu is on communication and synergy between giver and receiver and the self development of the giver as well as the receiver, and on physical and psychological harmony for both. When the giver communicate his or her enjoyment and attitude about life to the receiver, the receiver will use your example to become healthier and happier.

A primary difference between Ohashtiatsu and other bodywork modalities is that Ohashiatsu maintains and improves the giver’s strength, flexibility and well-​being. Ohashiatsu combines hands-​on touch techniques, gentle exercises and stretches in a seamless flow of movement. The Ohashiatsu treatment offers stretching, flexibility, endurance, strength building and better posture.
