I canceled one appt. (our first) because my daughter who was supposed to pick the puppy up was home sick. I have since tried to make an appt. and had difficulty fitting a two hour time slot into my schedule. The woman who I talked to was very rude telling me if I keep cancelling appts to go somewhere else. I tried to explain I only cancelled one. She told me that If I cancelled another they would have to charge me. I can sort of understand the concept but it was badly handled as I am new to the business in particular and the concept of grooming a puppy in general. I was perfectly willing to go into the next week to find an afternoon slot that works for me but wasn’t even offered that option. She just expressed frustration that I can’t do mornings and kept telling me she has to pay her groomers as if that translates into why afternoons don’t work. I am giving one star because they came to me highly recommended so they must at least have dog skills if not people skills.

Deb at Angel Paws has been grooming my shih tzu for a few years now and I couldn’t be more pleased. She’s always done a great job and has never injured him as has happened before. Since I don’t live that close to the shop, they always call me about ½ hr before he’s done. I’ve never had to leave him there for hours on end.
