Pep Boys Auto Service & Tire

Awesome website, great customer service, extremely long wait. My appointment was scheduled for 10 am and I was 10 minutes early. My oil change wasn’t completed until 1pm. I wasn’t thrilled about that but again the service was almost good enough to forget it. Unsure of whether or not I’ll go back.

My favorite place to take my car! I have 1999 Toyota Camry and as expected with an almost 20 year old car, she has some hiccups every now and then. Every time I come in the guys are so pleasant and thorough in explaining what the issue is with my car. It can be intimidating as a female dealing with mechanics but this group has never made me feel inferior. So customer service AND great work? YES, Pep Boys is the place to go. The only negative is sometimes the wait can be a little long but for quality service, totally worth it!

I can not express how every time I have come into this Pep Boys location I have experience the best customer service. I used to always go to NTB to get my car worked on and new tires, but after a few negative experiences there I decided it was time for a change. My neighbor recommended me to try Pep Boys by the Riverchase Galleria. I was surprised at the positive experience that I had a Pep Boys and continue to have each time I got in. If you go multiple times sign up for the rewards program and you will receive wonderful coupons! I just used one to get my Honda Civic’s oil change and to get a new air vent all for under $ 20! I will continue to always go to this Pep Boys location and really encourage everyone else to! I have already recommended 3 people to this location! Great job to the Pep Boys!

So the pep boys team has always been good to me. but I need to give glowing and rave reviews to the new store manager named Joel! he went above and beyond being helpful and accommodating. his staff has a good attitude and seem to get along very well with each other. He explained everything about what they did and looked at on my car in a way that I could understand. he listened to my description of the problem and while he couldn’t find anything going on with the car. Told me that if it misbehaved again to bring it to him immediately because he would love to try to help me fix and maintain my car. when I called this morning to make an appointment not only was he first bright eyed bushy tailed AM pleasant but told me that it was okay if I was going to be a little bit late from work then he wanted to get me slide it in so that he could make sure that he was taking care of me. the other members of his staff that I met were Derek and Misty. Both of whom were knowledgeable and helpful.

We took our car to Pep Boys at the beginning of the summer. Our car is older and we weren’t sure whether to make the fairly expensive repair or bite the bullet and get a newer used car. We went with making the repair. It took over 3 months to get it right with many returns to the shop. The shop and the Pep Boys management worked diligently with us until they got it right. It was a difficult repair, but in the end, we got our car and the group was helpful and friendly the whole time.
