First time visit to this new freestanding ER in Hoover. Facilities are brand new, staff was caring, wait was zero! I arrived about 10pm on a Thursday night for some stitches to my forehead after my big dog knocked me down. There were only 2, maybe 3 other patients, and there was no wait time. I was sewn up and sent on my way in about an hour. They took good care of me and gave me pain medication when I arrived. Doctor Pereira was charming, very skilled, and sewed me up very nicely. This experience was the best ER experience I’ve ever had: no crowd, no waiting, relaxing atmosphere, and very close to home. I don’t make a habit of ER visits, but I’ll be back if need be.
