Artists On The Bluff

Wow, wow, wow!
I attended Bluff Park elementary as a child in the 80’s. I haven’t been in the original building since, leaving for Simmons. I could not have been more impressed with the condition of this facility.
In the hallway between the main «school house» and the «cafeteria,» there was a glass display that spans the entire length. It was a mini-​museum with artifacts from years ago. Pretty dang cool.
The courtyard area looks to be reserved for studios. These contained working studios, lesson studios, and a mix of both. The specialties include, but are not limited to, painting, photography, wood working, clay sculptures, welding, and glass blowing. The rest of the facility is now a magnificent gallery with impressive works by both locally and internationally renowned artists. All works are for sale and reasonably priced.
I urge you to check this place out. I feel foolish that I just saw it for the first time.
