This was my second visit to Remedy Juice Café and I was disappointed with the service. I ordered Kombucha on tap and had to wait a while for it, even though I was the only one in the shop. After reminding the server what I ordered, they poured it from the tap and got their fingers in it. Would have been fine if they offered to pour a new one, but they did not seem to care.

The juice was good but the service was REALLY slow. My juice arrived with no lid, apparently they ran out. We waiting for my friends juice for about 10 minutes and the people that came in after us received their order. Finally someone came up to us and mentioned they ran out of apples and asked her if she wanted to substitute it. They had to do the same thing to a few more people. 5 minutes later it came and it was really good. I’m happy to see a juice place in Hood River with great options but they just need to work on their speed a bit and maybe the ambiance in the place. We had 20 minutes to critique the place as we waited :)

I really want to love this place. The menu looks so promising with healthy juices, smoothies, bowls, & hot beverages. The location is great. Ambiance is fine. Staff is friendly. I just didn’t think the smoothies had much flavor. I couldn’t taste any fruit, only the nut milk. I tried to sample the soup, but it was given to me in a tiny plastic cup and the temperature of the soup melted the plastic. A health food establishment should know better than to put anything hot in plastic. I also had the «healthy hot chocolate» with coconut milk and it was pretty awful tasting and over heated with no froth. On a positive note, the little nut/​fruit/​cacao balls at the register were delicious!

I am a local and have visited this establishment 4 times now. I like the offerings, the food is fresh, vegetarian and decent. I don’t understand the reviews about the staff here, Every time I have gone in they have been very cold. Slow service and no personal connection at all.
Twice I have ordered a drink off the hot drink section and it was served cold. Kale coffee cold is extremely unpalatable.
My biggest complaint with this place is that they package everything in to go boxes. Even when you sit and eat there. If you want to be environmentally conscious, you should offer some reusable serving ware. Talk about wasteful.
I hope they continue to improve their staff and style, I won’t be returning for a while.

I’m not a juice type of guy, but this place is simply fantastic. Imagine an organic, local, fresh, non-​corporate jamba juice with the nice, cool feeling as you enter. Everything is very clean and well presented. You feel healthy just walking in — and to know that what you’re eating is actually healthy and locally sourced. I had the Buddha bowl and tamale plate, along with some smoothie that had almond butter in it. I think they make all of their bases, like the almond butter and coconut milk. It was one of the best meals I had in Oregon, seriously, at a juice café! Love that they have free wifi — will have to remember that next time I need to do some work in a nice environment. Until then HR… yes we will be back!

I have had at least 10 great experiences here with juice and staff! However I went, or rather tried to go, in at 8:50 on a weekday (sign says they open at 8:30 and door was opened) and the girl behind the counter was pretty rude about saying they were closed. Remedy, your staff has been awesome so far and I’d never seen her before but please don’t take on the elitist mentality that so many of the hood River coffee shops have as you grow. The juices and location are so wonderful and hood River needs you!

The workers here are super friendly! In addition to juices and organic smoothies, they also have kale coffee (i have yet to try this concoction) and a variety of granola bowls and rice bowls. I tried the Liquid Sunshine juice, which has kale, orange, apple, lemon, and ginger. It was so refreshing! I also had the Buddha rice bowl, which is pretty similar to the bowls they have at Café Yumm. It was a good and filling snack :)

After wandering Hood River for a while we stopped in for a quick pick-​me-​up before hitting the road again, and I have to say, it was pretty decent for a green smoothie. 4 stars because it’s a hair on the gritty side (probably the kale), but the flavor is good and the smoothie itself was very refreshing.

Spent a day in Hood River and needed a healthy jolt to my system and Remedy hooked it up! It’s a great place, very clean feel. My friend and I were looking for a nice place to hike around town and the two very friendly staff members helped us find an incredible hike. Oh yeah, the juice was top notch too! Definitely recommend it for great juices, friendly vibes and beautiful space!

There is a good reason this establishment has such a strong rating online, because in person it is wonderful! The friendliness and kindness of the people who were working in here on the day of my visit will not soon be forgotten and will always be appreciated.
They went above and beyond, suggesting a great juice for how I was feeling to help me find inner harmony and balance, and they suggested a nearby hiking trail complete with directions to get there that provided to my eyes the most stunning views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams.
So thank you to the crew here for your kindness, your juice making skills and for just plain being AWESOME people who shine a great light on all those who enter. Juice on!

It was a day of firsts for me. My first barre class followed by my first visit to Remedy. I loved Remedy and can’t wait to go back… not sure how I feel about barre. ;)
Great selection of juices and smoothies. They also have a few bowls for lunch and a soup of the day. I haven’t tried the food, but I have friends who are obsessed with the Buddha Bowl, so, I obviously need to check that out.
The café itself is bright, open, and clean. Super friendly staff. Great downtown location. Really excited to have this adorable, yummy juice café in Hood River.
