feeling very ripped off. called this morning, asked for a quote for $ 75 on installing new tires, front & rear, on my bike. a bit more expensive that my usual shop($ 25/tire), but they’re backed up this week. so dropped it off with Mid-Columbia, then picked up this afternoon with a bill for $ 162.50. When I questioned it, was told it was $ 75 per tire, plus and $ 12.50 tire disposal fee. No choice in the matter if I wanted my bike back. Will not be doing business with them again, and spreading the word through the Hood River valley about their deceptive practices.

I’ve been doing business with Jim, Nick and the team at Mid-Columbia for over a year now and have always been very happy with how they treat me. These guys really know their equipment and they are passionate about what they do. They will spend whatever time you need to help you with whatever questions you have. If you need a boat, a motorcycle, a rhino or service and repair, they’ll take care of you. 5 stars for MCM!

I bought my first Waverunner from Mid-Columbia Marine in 2008 and since have had horrible service and bad attitudes from the owner and his staff. The owner is rude, condescending, and quite frankly — a jerk. He accused me of putting oil in my Waverunner(which I purchased from them and only had serviced from them) and when I told him no one touches my waverunner, he didn’t believe me and accused me again of not knowing what I was talking about. Unbelievable. Watch out for this guy and his staff. I don’t trust them one bit after this false accusation. The owner should not be in any sort of customer service position. The guy is so awfully rude that it led me to sign up for Unilocal and write a review. As a Hood River local, I wanted to purchase and service my ski locally, but after the experiences I had with this guy and his staff, I would drive to Portland or Seattle in a heartbeat over giving this guy my business. At least in the cities there is competition. Stay away from Mid-Columbia Marine.
