Hood River Distillers, founded in 1934, opened this tasting room in downtown HR in July 2015. Downtown Hood River adds something unique to the selection of wine tasting spots with the Hood River Distillers Tasting Room. They’ve got brands they produce and bottle — Sinfire Cinnamon Whiskey, Yazi Ginger Vodka — as well as Pendleton Whiskey, distilled in Canada and finished here in Hood River. Their brand of mixers, including one for Old Fashioned, are also for sale here, along with hats and glassware.
The lighting is dark and cool, and behind the bar knowledgeable staff will provide tastes and info.
