To sum it up: at the end of the appointment the hair was longer on the left side than on the right side. Had to book another appointment at a different salon a week later.

I highly recommend Lori, she is a fabulous stylist. Her attention to detail, personality, and ear for listening is exactly what you want in a stylist. She gave me one of the best hair cuts and blow outs I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go back!

Go to Natalie! I was in town visiting and finally had some free time to get my hair cut so I took a chance on a new place and new person and am so glad I did! Being that I wasn’t a regular and an out-​of-​stater on top of that, I fully expected rushed and impersonal service. I got the complete opposite! Natalie was so nice and so focused on my hair the whole time. She explained what she was doing as she went along. At various points she asked for my input and she offered suggestions for what she thought was best. It was the perfect mix of listening to me yet still getting her expert advice. And I say expert because even though her hair is nothing like mine, she knew it including all the problem areas like it was her own. She even went above and beyond with the styling at the end. At one point during the styling she said SHE was so excited to see how it turned out (me too of course, but it’s my hair!) because she had gotten the results we both wanted. She even thanked ME for letting her «play» with my hair during the styling. I couldn’t have been happier. Awesome service, super nice and easy to talk to, a great cut and ‘do, and at a great price! What more can you ask for? Five stars all the way!

Kalyn styled my hair for my wedding and she could not have done a more perfect job. I came in from out of town and she was able to do a run-​through of the style with me a couple days before the wedding. She was very thorough and professional while being very kind and friendly. My hair came out perfect, the braids were stunning and she did an amazing job incorporating some fresh flowers into the back. She did an awesome job on my bridesmaids hair too, and they both have hair very different in texture and length from my own. Could not give a higher recommendation!

I just got my haircut from Laurie today who did an amazing job! I’m visiting for the week and decided that I really wanted a haircut THIS week, so after searching for the best reviewed place in Hood River, I decided to come here. Usually I’m hesitant to try new places, since I’m super picky about my hair, but I had nothing to worry about. Laurie listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly the haircut I had envisioned. I also loved that I paid half the price of what I normally pay at other salons in Seattle, and the cut is just as good (if not better!).

My boyfriend came in here to get a last minute walk-​in haircut.
We had literally went to four places, in which two were closed and one «didn’t have time for us.» But Tera, squeezed us in in-​between appointments (bless her heart) and said she’d get us right after the guy she was working on at the current moment.
Tera was INCREDIBLY friendly. Not only did she spark up awesome conversations, but she listened to what my boyfriend wanted. I’ve never met a friendlier stylist… EVER. Not only was she friendly though, she was equally as experienced and gave my boyfriend the clean razored & layered cut he was looking for.
Salon was clean, environment friendly and is located on the second floor of a shared building space over looking the street.
Dudes, request TERA if you’re coming here. She’s awesome.
