Wanted to send a shout out for Abbey Carpet I had work done at a fair price compare to the prices of the competitors and they were very attentive to my needs and wants always confirmed appoints and when the work was done and I found some over sights I had no problem in having them return to correct it. I wanted to thank Charlie for outstanding service also installers Mat and Milton 2^nd to none.

The only reason why I’m giving this place a second star is for poor Debra who attempted her best with service recovery.
Should you choose Abbey’s to do any type of home improvement for you, DO NOT SEE SCOTT PETERSON. He single handedly made my experience with Abbey’s horrific. I would not recommend them to anyone just cause my experience was so bad with him.
We were looking to redo our floors with carpet and paradigm in a timely manner since I was to give birth in the next few months. This company promised that they could execute this job by my expected timeline. This was one of the main reasons we chose them.
However, it didn’t get done at the time promised and I had to change the type of carpet I initially chose because my sales rep (Scott Peterson) told me later that they didn’t have it in stock when initially he told me it was in stock. He then later told us that we would need to pay an additional cost to hire a plumber because the toilet and the sink needed to be removed in the process of placing our tiles. Had we known this from the beginning, we would’ve been able to incorporate it into our budget. He then lied to us and to, I’m assuming the co-​owner Debra, and made a claim that we had somehow agreed to removing the toilet and sink ourselves. No such agreement was ever made with him. And I just thought it was so absurd that he’d try to lie about this to cover his ass. Then when the final touches of the flooring were done and the baseboards were to be placed, the installer found that the baseboards ordered (by Scott) were not the right size. Instead of being apologetic about this and offering a solution such as, ordering the correct sized baseboards and having it installed, Scott attempts to try to persuade me to let the installer install the wrong sized baseboards and have a painter come in to touch up any unsightly spots on our walls that the baseboards didn’t cover. I didn’t pay thousands of dollars for things to be done half ass. This guy was such a screw up. DO NOT SEE SCOTT PETERSON. It was horrible. Just horrible.

Excellent job they do… I couldn’t be more happy .:)) they did my dining room and bathroom vinyl sheets and the rest of the condo all carpet. Wish I could show pictures. So nice made my condo look brand new .what else can I say. They did a superb job!

Great service from start to finish. Deborah the receptionist was super helpful, the guys who came to measure and quote were friendly. and the installation team (Julie and rod) were great. About 2400 bucks for everything including base boards, 2 bedrooms, stairs and closets (500 sq ft)

I give them a minus star rating. Unprofessional, don’t follow through with their written motto, guarantees 100% customer satisfactory. Shotty work and owners don’t tell the truth and play games with you. I would never recommend anyone to use them, not even my worse enemy. I had them install sheet vinyl flooring and there are many gaps between the planks, material is less than in quality even if it was supposed to be commercial grade. Furthermore, when I had an attorney finally write a letter, they agreed to replace my floors that they screwed up, however, they were going to just put another flooring on the floors that they installed badly, and wanted to charge me another $ 10,000.00 and more if I wanted it done, correctly. I had already paid out over $ 17,000.00. That’s what you call a rip off. Owner, never apologized, just were rude.

Horrible people and price, please don’t go there…
They run specials discounts on marukai ads so my parents went to the store. They told them the promotion was on specific carpets. There selection was not only limited but also the most expensive carpet they had– 11.90 per sqt! They thought from there, it’s 50% off plus 5% for marukai members. So they went ahead with that order. Come to find out, they only gave them the 5% disc. and told them it wont apply??? That’s when I spoke to the owner but, he too gave me the run around and said he doesn’t even know about the promotion. He told me if I cancelled the order, it will cost me.
Carpet came out to be $ 6024.00 for a 750sqt. home. Really? disappointing experience…
Go to home depot, I got carpets from them twice and it was a pleasant experience!

Happy Mic Check Day! 1 – 2, 1 – 2, 1 – 2!
I was debating to give Abbey Carpet 1 or 2 stars but felt rather generous. The only reason why I come here is for the remnants which I use to line in front of my washer and dryer in the garage. The lack of sizes makes it difficult to find the right fit. I have purchased the sample remnants for other uses for $ 2 which is a great deal.
Once you enter, the front desk receptionist calls for a sales representative and is with you during the whole process. I was hoping to just «look» but they assigned me a gentleman who is obviously looking to earn a small commission.
On my last visit, I was ready to purchase my $ 2 remnant and the receptionist asked for my id and phone number to enter into the system. With my $ 2 and change in hand, I just wanted to buy the darn carpet and walk out but entering all my information took time and it seemed unnecessary in my opinion.
This store is located across from Buzz’s Steakhouse in Aiea. Will I come here again? Yes if I need to pick up more $ 2 samples and have lots of time.

Wow, such a different experience I had from the two previous people! I got great service! Receptionist was very friendly, pointed me in the direction of what I wanted to see and said she’s send someone to assist me. Two minutes later one of the female associates came, sat me down to discuss what I was looking for. She showed me samples of the laminate I was interested in, took down the numbers. Explained the differences such as some had graining, some were flat, some shiny, etc. There’s SO many choices!
I’ll be going back to look at more flooring selections, but so far they have been great!

Horrible customer service. The person that helped us was Jeff. When we told him we were looking for dark colored laminate, he made us feel as if we were asking for something strange. He told us it would have to be special ordered and it would take weeks. What’s with the discouragement? He asked if we found it elsewhere. I mentioned we saw at Lowe’s. Then he asked why we didn’t purchase it there? We felt like he didn’t want our business. Also, while we were in the middle of a question, he sees people he knows and interrupts us to say «Hi» to them. Of course, we left after that.

I recently purchased carpet and sheet vinyl after seeing their advertisement on $ 44 carpet installation. The carpet was done properly but the sheet vinyl was not properly installed and the cost was over the top. I was charged over $ 500 just for labor costs for the vinyl sheeting! I initially didn’t think about the cost as I needed it done quickly but the result was unsatisfactory. I was not offered a discount and the salesperson was aloof and gave me unsincere apology. Without going into more detail, they had charged me for material they didn’t use and only by their poor workmanship was it discovered. I brought it to their attention four days after it was installed and was told that it was not their policy to overcharge. When were they going to advise me of this??? Chalking this up as a loss and will never do business with them again.
