VOLCANO eCigs

I got the Joyetech Cuboid from the NEX location when it first came out and have been using it as my daily paired with a Smok TFV4 at 100w. It is a fantastic device that I couldn’t be happier with.
Today something odd happened and it malfunctioned. I called the NEX location and they advised me to bring it in to take a look at it.
I have always gone to the NEX location for their excellent service, but as I was in town, I asked if it was okay to go to the Kapahulu location instead. They said it was fine.
I came in expecting a difficult time. Jonathan listened to what happened and inspected my device. When it was clear it was not due to abuse or misuse it was replaced at no charge.
I’m not sure why some people complained about difficulty with their warranty policy, but I was impressed by how well they handled it. Because of this, I left with two mods I purchased as gifts.

I am used to going to Ala Moana to buy my liquid but discovered this gem closer to home. This place is located right on Kapahulu Ave.
To be honest, you have to look for it to know where it is. I highly recommend calling them so they can tell you what to look for.
The workers here are very friendly. When I came in the first time, I was brand new to vaping and had no clue what to look for in terms of flavored liquid. The woman assisting me was very patient and gave me her opinion on flavors. She even let me taste a few.
I am a huge fan of the fruit flavors. Halawa Guava, Peach, Lychee and Pear are my top picks.
I also love that they having parking. It is located underneath the building. Just let the parking attendant know that you are going to Volcano and they will give you a 15 minute grace period.

This vape café is the only place that I like to go to. The service, expertise and friendly staff are exceptional. One in particular should be commended for being an exemplary employee. She is the most knowledgeable person, and has helped me immensely by fielding my many questions about the products I wanted to buy. I would name her, but she knows who she is. This is my favorite location, and I will always come back.

This place is definitely an awesome café to relax, work on projects, and have meetings. Absolutely excellent customer service! Looks like I’ll be coming around here more often…

Wow this place is frustrating. Not the individual employees, but just an unsatisfying experience in general. I just want a good working e-​cig, I know how they work. A new piece shouldn’t be flooding and leaking. But when I went back into the shop to see what’s up with it, they were reluctant to do much for me without trying to get more money out of me. They did, however, exchange the tank. Finally, after asking 3 times. Where’s the aloha with taking care of your loyal customers?

I have not been too they new place since it opened. They renovation took a very very long time. I found another local vape shop which ultimately replaced this, my former fav location.

This is my favorite volcano location. I’m kind of an idiot when it comes to my device and the staff is super friendly and always so helpful. My first visit was when I first received my lava tube and I was having issues with it like flooding and my flavor always tasting burnt. Brandy helped me that day and explained the whole device to me and steps I had to take to vape properly.
I visited today because I couldn’t taste my cotton candy. Sherelle cleaned my tank and set me up with a new flavor. She was super awesome.!I recommend this location to everyone. For me it’s worth the drive. Thanks dudes :)

Not a good experience. Colin, refused to explain to me the specifications and details of why my device was not in warranty. He gave me a reason that was completely irrelevant to the issue… The owner should really take a look at it. Customer service is huge in this day in time… And if you ain’t got that. There’s many more vape places you can go… In HAWAII, there are many new up and coming companies that will treat you much better. He said his boss was josh and Sean… Hopefully they will realize they are loosing customers because of their workers! I work for the most admired brand in the world, so I know customer service when I experience it…

My first visit to this store. The atmosphere was pleasant and staff was friendly. They offered plenty instructions & information on their various products. Very reasonable prices. I’ll definitely be recommending this store to friends. I’ll be coming here for my ecig products.

Terrible customer service. Collin has no people skills. Also their products are cheap they broke with in the first month and they didn’t replace it even though, at time of purchase they were excited to share their 1 yr warranty.
You can buy from them! Just don’t expect a great experience. But what do you expect from a shop that grew from a fad fan base an now has a McDonald’s franchise attitude with low quality products but great marketing.

If there was a minus star button they would receive — 5 stars!!! This company is a total rip off. They talk about there 1 year warranty … Yeah right, they refuse to honor it. I have to keep buying lava tanks from them. They are either defective or faulty. I just bought the last one 3 months ago. Buyers beware!!! I have been a customer for over 3 years now I am gonna switch to another company!!!

It seems they have no concern for good customer service at this location. The «manager» that runs this store is truly pennywise and dollar dumb. Go to Ward location for better service and deals on juice!

This sales associate was rude, completely UN-​helpful and made things up just to get me out the door. This employee Colin has caused me to seriously question the quality of this brand and the service I will receive if I have any problems.
I went to the store because my batteries were not charging. I stated that I think it’s the wire or charger because I have another personal bought wire that seems to work fine but the one that came with Kit will no longer charge the batteries. Colin does not say a word and rudely walks off to test the batteries. He immediately says they are charging fine if I wiggle the wire. I tell him yes but then it will stop charging over a period of time even after I do that. He then states it must be the batteries but there is nothing he can do because the batteries have chipped off paint.
My unit is ONLY around 4 months old and I myself was shocked that the paint was coming off already as they have only been in my pocket when I go to work. I explained this fact and he still stated matter of factually there is nothing he can do.
After a long back and forth I brought up the warranty information on my girlfriends cell phone and pointed out that this should be considered normal wear. After Colin stated, I’m sorry there is nothing I can do several more times I finally get him to contact a manager who tells him if the batteries are not dented he can RMA them.
He then proceeds to test my batteries again with a new wire and comes back saying it’s the wire and the wires often cause this problem and that they have to replace a lot of wires. He gives me a new wire and does not replace the batteries that he originally said were the problem.
I left not knowing if the issue was the battery or the wire as he changed his story so many times. So why did I get the run around about the batteries when I initially pointed out the wire issue? Are my batteries OK or not? After getting home and charging a battery overnight with the new wire I wake up to find that it is not charged! I understand that problems can arise with any device and that’s what a warranty and customer service is for. But to be given the run around like this over something that should be obviously covered is outrageous. Great job losing a customer over a wire that probably costs less than a dollar to manufacture or a battery that should be covered by warranty!

Updates… doesn’t matter which one you go to. it’s not the people that work there… but the products are just poorly developed. I have used volcano for awhile and was patient with all their products. They always explain that it’s under development, but the new BC tank is a big disappointment. Leaks everytime doesn’t matter what I do and how many instructions Volcano reps have given me. The product is just not that great, I’m will have to start experimenting with other brands… volcano just hasn’t done anything to make me think they even care. and other reviews I read. I feel you people… I know some of them shouldn’t even be working there with their poor attitude

Although I love this place, I am disappointed in the new management at this location. Poor customer service. The associates were awesome as usual but it’s so shame when you are a regular customer, and all you get is bad service. No returns or trades without a receipt! Shame on me for not thinking I would have to trade an e-​liquid at all.
The vanilla bean flavor thickens up and clogs my coils. All I wanted was an even trade.

This location takes your ID and inputs your information from your ID into their system. This really bothers me. I understand that an ID is required to ascertain that you are 18 and over for sale of their products. However, I think this big brother crap with the IDs must be an internal policy that I do not like and do not agree with. My last visit to this vendor for my vaping purposes.
On a positive note, I probably would have blown up more had the man helping me not been so hot! Yes, hot enough to cool down even my demme Korean temper about 8 notches on the ten-​point scale.

Friendly staff, very laid back vibe tonight. There were a few customers at the front bar when I came in so I figured there’d be a bit of a wait. Instead I was greeted & helped as soon as I walked in. The other customers seemed to just be hanging out & talking story so the workers jump back & forth in conversations which is nice. I didn’t get that «I’m talking to this person, you can wait» vibe at all. Awesome!
It took me longer to find the place & parking than to make my purchase. Incase anyone else is wondering, they’re located in the same 2 story building Sam Choy’s used to be in (immediately after First Hawaiian Bank when you’re driving north on Kapahulu). You can park downstairs (which looked pretty empty when I walked past) or be like me & find street parking because you’re paranoid that your big SUV won’t fit in the parking structure.

Great customer service! Everyone there is very nice. The managers name is Sadie… she’s awesome! After only 3 times there, everyone knew who I was. As a former smoker, I think Volcano eCig is an awesome alternative to cigarettes. The equipment is reasonably priced and I love that there are endless flavors to try. Also different levels of nicotine so you can wean yourself off nicotine and still vape safely. And oh the colors! So many to choose from as well. I bought the purple lava tube… so pretty!
Oh and it’s also a café where you can get sandwiches and drinks. It’s a nice place to hang out. With stools and counter seats or couches, it’s a very comfortable atmosphere and doesn’t stink of cigarette smoke! Location is so easy to find. The line moves quickly so you can be in and out quickly if you prefer.
Don’t compare Volcano eCigs to others. This one is totally different. Easy to use. Safe. Doesn’t give you headaches or make you feel sick. I highly recommend this if you want to quit smoking gross cigarettes! And the knowledgeable staff is helpful and will give you all the knowledge you need to get started. You can come back anytime for free tech support too for your device!

These folks are great — I got my lava tube at another location. Could not get it to work right — they worked with me for an hour and made me a vape genius. Go there now. They are the best st customer service — happy vaping!
