Awesome Brunch Boozers event! I think this was the largest turnout I’ve seen. Food was great, I thought I was hungry enough that I could eat a whole roasted pig after I did my run that morning but just one plate of their Calabash seafood basket(cole slaw, hush puppy, fries, shrimp, oysters, and fish) and a lot of drinks I was done at the end. Liz did a spectacular job getting all of our orders and delivering our food quick. I look forward for the next BB event.

My friend and I had a blast at our first Unilocal event. Esteban is a gracious and attentive host. He put up with our fashionable lateness and having to procure an extra table! I was quite nervous about attending and meeting the Unilocalers but so many of them were very friendly and sweet. I’m sure I’ll meet more since it seemed like a good idea to let Unilocalers eat in peace! The sun was on our side since there was rays of sunlight shining down on us. The waitress did an amazing job. My oyster po boy was delicious. The coleslaw, hush puppies and deviled egg not to my liking. The honeyed butter hit the spot. The drinks were being abused. Finally had my first taste of champagne. The Unilocaler next to me showed me how good a mango champagne can be. Just have to make sure I don’t spiral into an afternoon champagne dependency.

Daaaamnnnn that was a great turnout for BBXI! Like Emi said, about 30 people showed up and from the look of things(beer goggle filter notwithstanding) everyone had an awesome time! Huge props to Esteban for making it happen, & to our server Liz! The food came out super quick & consistent even though we had her running all over the place and taking separate checks. All the waitresses were very friendly & did a great job considering we overflowed that place with Unilocalers. Great to see a lot of newer Unilocalers there as well! Well done Festiban!

What an amazing turnout at today’s Brunch Boozers at Kiss My Grits! My rough headcount had us at 30+ Unilocalers and the way the liquor was pouring, it was a very merry time indeed! Big kudos to Esteban W for another wonderful Unilocal event!!! You never know how quickly food is going to come out with such a large party, but my order came out in a jiffy. I got the three piece fried chicken plate for $ 8.25 which came with cole slaw and a deviled egg. The chicken had a really great crust and the perfect crunchy texture. I got a little worried when I met Red Ryan, but as soon as I realized he was just Jason N after a few cocktails, my fears completely subsided. Unilocal intern Thomas O was introduced to what I call«Devil In A Cup» aka Russ M’s Mai Tai mix. I told him that I will not be held responsible for any drug addictions or children out of wedlock which result from drink that cocktail. Don’t say I didn’t warn you… Unilocal 365 Challenge: # 180⁄365(The Devil In A Cup)
