I probably saw Laurie P. at Unilocal events before but I recall first getting to know her about 2 years ago at a party. We were playing Jenga and I was trying really hard to crush Richard K., the engineer by profession. Laurie and hubby Jamal were also playing and I remember Laurie’s outgoing personality, laughs and those fashionable frames that she wears. By the way, to set the record straight, Richard K. is not a bad person at all. I can competitive and wanted to take him down! Since that initial interaction with Laurie, we’ve bumped into each other at Unilocal events and even in Chinatown, where we would converse. So when I found out that Laurie and Jamal were going to their next assignment in SoCal, I was bummed so regardless of my schedule or feeling under the weather I made the effort to attend tonight. I became ill several days ago but that didn’t stop me from attending this UYE. I arrived just before 7pm and saw a long table of over 10 Yeeps chatting, eating and enjoying Happy Hour at Ryan’s. Such interesting topics popped up tonight. Bras and cannibalism… very unique discussions. What is exactly a training bra and when did you start to use one. This Unilocaler was«woman handled» by a total stranger on how to properly use a bra. Several people agreed that Unilocalers would probably taste better than the«Average Joe» because of better consumption of food and alcohol. Some people felt that Unilocalers are like«wagyu beef» quality. Eating good food, drinking booze and getting massages, too! The next thing we know several hours passed as we chowed down on food, drinks and chatted the evening away. It was somewhat sad to realize Laurie and Jamal are soon to leave the islands. As we say in Hawaii, «Aloha» is not a farewell. I wish the two continued success and until the next time we see each other again. NOTE: Was cool to see Lai T. who was also under the weather. By pure coincidence we sat next to each other and were labeled as being kept in the«quarantine zone. »
