History

Established in 1978.

Tom started as a draftsman in Ohio for product and industrial design.

In 1972 he earned his Architecture degree from University of Hawaii and began apprenticing with several Honolulu architectural firms until 1978 when he began his own business. He received his architect license in 1986.

Tom continues to enjoy serving his clients and has many of them returning for repeat business or referring their friends.

Business Owner

Tom was born and grew up in Troy, Ohio.

In 1965 – 67 he was in the USAF in Korat, Thailand. After that he returned as a civilian to live and work in Thailand until 1969 when he came to Honolulu to study Tropical Architectural Design at the University of Hawaii.

He met his future wife at his first architectural drafting job working for Louis Pursel and Associates. He married Diane Pursel and has two children, Tom and Anne.
