We had a great experience at thrifty. We had reservation for a wild card car. It turned out to be a Chevy spark. The woman said we got a great rate for the week.
Got the car and it looked great. The woman who helped us out side was named Precious. She was very happy, and smiley. She offered us restaurant recommendations and was very patient with our five year olds endless questions.

The ridiculous long lines far out weigh the discounts. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra for Hertz which is a quick walk right across from the terminal at the airport. Über is also available and well worth it if you don’t intend leaving your resort every day for far off excursions.

I used Thrifty Car Rental on a vacation to Honolulu. After all the miscellaneous fees, the price ended up being $ 35/​day for a full size car (Ford Fusion). The car was clean and in good condition. The waiting time was shorter than I expected — about 10 – 15 minutes. Overall good experience.

Price is right They have compacts, convertables and Jeeps. Expect long lines both getting and returning your rental because their lower pricing makes them popular with the tourists.
