I go to Tammy to get my hair straight permed. 3 – 4 hours in her salon chair will save you mega hours in the future in hair drying, flat ironing & hair products. Of course she is a precise hair cutter. Petite lady from Korea, but able to do procedure alone without a problem. Uses special products from Korea that smells mild during & after the process.

I heard about Tammy 3 years ago and never went until sometimes late last year. Here’s what took me there. I went to another beauty salon and didn’t like it and wanted to change it so bad. Remembered Tammy so I gave her a call and my appointment given was a first clue that she is busy, meaning lot of people see her. Come to find out when I went, not only does she have lots of customers but she also spends careful time with you.
I was really satisfied of her skills; how she touched my skull to see what is its shape and so which style and length would match. Not only does she have skills but she has a good warmth heart.
The price is very worth it. She also does Mani and Ped. I strongly recommend those who are still looking for the right barber, she is so far the right person for me.

Got my hair cut by Tammy for a few years and was never disappointed. Stylin Hair is located on Kalakaua about a block away from Don Quijote so easily within walking distance from Waikiki or Ala Moana area. The times I have been there she has had all kinds of people coming in and out; old, young, man, woman and child, so she seems to be pretty diverse in the hair stylin skills department. Now that I’m not back in Honolulu as much anymore I’m kind of disappointed I have to find someone else to cut me up or else I’d be going here indefinitely into the future, as she does a great job.

This has been my haircut spot for the past 7 years and counting. Good price, friendly and always a great haircut. Parking is available in the back.

I have been coming here for my haircuts for over 6 years now and have always left a happy customer.
Owner is an older Korean lady. She cuts it perfectly and is always on time. Well, my haircuts are very simple and not that complicated, but she keeps me OK-​looking… XD
Only negative is there isn’t much parking for this shop in the area. This doesn’t affect me as I live a couple blocks away and hoof it. ^_^
