Status Entertainment Hawaii

Kaipo and his team were very unprofessional and my wife and I do not recommend his services to anyone. We became frustrated with the lack of communication and lack of professionalism we experienced working with him. We initially met and decided on a Status Entertainment package and then did not hear back from him for three weeks to a month despite numerous voicemails and multiple emails. We had not heard from Kaipo or his team within 10 days of our wedding and thus, felt the need to go ahead and go with another DJ/​Emcee service. We requested a return of our $ 250 deposit as well as a response to our inquiries and explanation for lack of communication, but again did not hear back from Kaipo or his team. My wife and I are overall patient and understanding people. We felt the need to write this review to alert others of our experience, but also to hopefully help Status Entertainment work on their communication and professionalism, which are crucial parts in running a successful business, especially a wedding business where communication and responsiveness are key.

At our wedding, music and food were the priorities. Status Entertainment came through giving us the perfect music all night long. It was the first time in a long time that I had seen my entire family on the dance floor. I don’t think you read that dramatically enough … MY ENTIRE FAMILY ON THE DANCE FLOOR. They were very professional throughout the evening assisting our performers. They also did a great job of creating the perfect ambience with beautiful uplighting. My only regret is that we did not take advantage of their hosting abilities.
Now, I have pictures and memories to last a lifetime.

Kaipo & his team are amazing!!! They provided the sounds, lights, screens, projector, & entertainment for our son’s graduation party and our daughter’s sweet 16 event. They are responsible, easy to deal with, reasonably priced, creative, problem solvers, accommodating, professional & takes care of everything so you don’t have to worry. Thank you so much — you folks were perfect!
