I’m usually around the mall pretty often and love to check out all the cute little bikini stores. On one particular day I decided to give splash a try and went in. Two girls were working and the store was pretty empty. Not one of them greeted me or even bothered to look at me. They were both too busy talking to each other. So I just continued looking around. I went up to the register right where the girls were to look at some of their jewelry in the case and still none of them offered to help me. I wss probably in their for a good 20 minutes. Fed up with their customer service I decided to leave. I’m pretty easy going and probably would have spent some of my money in that store but their loss not mines.

I bought a wetsuit online and it turned to be way too small, so I sent it back not knowing that the item was a Final Sale. Someone from the Corporate Office called me and generously accommodated my request for a larger size. I was SO impressed. How could I not be an ongoing customer with service like that? (and such a great selection of beachwear, etc.) Thanks, Dennis!

I always check out this boutique when I’m in Ala Moana Mall. Usually I buy my swimming suits on line but their suits are quality.
They also have a great $ 20 bin and stuff besides swimming suits like towels, slippers and coverups.
They sell my favorite yoga pants — B swim.

I came here because tops are hard to find for me because of my large cup size and small bust. They gave me anything they could in the dressing room that they thought might fit me, and there was a top I really liked but knew the small would not fit. They took down my number to inform me when a larger size came in, and they actually did end up calling me with my size. I was pretty impressed. I have one top from here now that fits well so I am grateful for their good customer service and variety of bikini styles. I will likely come back when I need a new bikini.

Lindsey was great in getting me into different suits that i wouldnt have picked on my own and making suggestions on sizes cuts and colors. Spent over an hour trying every suit in the store on. Eventally found two as my «souvenirs» from hawaii. What better thing to bring home and make you want to come back? Need a new suit or want to add to your collection — this is the place!

Every type of selection you can thing of, they got brazilian cut, they got cute one pieces, different styles of bikini bottoms and tops with different strap types, they have beach bags, towels, slippers, padding, and accessories! Definetley priced from affordable-​expensive, so you can find everything in budget, they got 2 sale bins you can find $ 10 bottoms/​tops in, and good clothing sale rack.
Also they have so much selection per type of bikini ex: they have one pieces for cutsey style girls, one pieces for elegant but conservative moms, 1 pieces that are funky fashion statements, and 1 pieces for those girls who like to look like Jlo.
I didnt give them a full 5 stars because i wish they had kamaaina discount since they got those Ala moana prices if you know what I mean.

I love their solid color mix & matches! There are so many different styles with different colors, some are great for surfing! Also it doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg like some other bikini places have turned into.

Had a great experience while on Vacation in Waikiki cant wait to order from ur online store, better yet shop personally again in ur store as soon as I return to live I can shop more often. Love the thong bikinis n the colors that u offer them in

I had a great experience here. I went to 5 other swimwear shops that day looking for a new bikini top for surfing. I was looking for something specific: cross-​back, with semi-​coverage for larger surf. Not only did I find the perfect top, it was also very well-​priced! I will be going back for another top in a few months, and some bottoms for surfing. The shop is small, and very organized. They have their own line as well as Ripcurl and a few others. I bought something from their Splash line. I also love that the bikinis aren’t covered in a lot of patterns, or any, for that matter. Just one simple color, red, blue, black, etc. They gave me a Loyalty card, so be sure to get one if you plan on returning.

Coupon on Unilocal an awesome deal and customer service was also awesome.

The prices for their basic separates are great. The customer service is alright. I have bought so many of their separates that I don’t really need to try them on. They had a great deal going on for their separates, buy 3 and get the fourth for free. its hard to beat less than 100 for two bikinis. They have since expanded their separates department and now feature many new colors and styles. Even now have a D cup top for the busty gals.
They do also carry some high end bikinis, but I have only bought their separates. I have found them to be great quality and very sexy fitting. They have lasted for years and I get many compliments on them.

When I came here to shop, the girl that was working was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I normally don’t like when the sales people pick additional items for me to try on, but she was not pushy and her selections were actually good! She was friendly but not overbearing and I didn’t feel pressured to buy something just because she was being helpful.
The bikinis can get pretty pricey but they are very cute. Also love that they actually have small sizes!

Is it pricey? Yes. Is there a limited selection, in the sense that this is really aimed at tourists, specifically rail thin tourists from Asia? Yes. Does that mean they don’t deserve 5 stars? Oh hells to the mother trucking NO.
I happened upon Honey Girl bathing suits at the Navy Exchange. Their selection was rather limited, but I did find a one piece that was flattering, provided coverage and comfy support for my large chest but petite frame, and wasn’t matronly. This was amazing, I decided I had to find more! So Unilocal lead me to Splash! Hawaii.
After perusing Honey Girl Waterwear’s website to see their various styles and sizes (and being pleasantly surprised that most of their tops had a size that covered up to DD cup breasts for under $ 75, which trust me is a freaking Christmas miracle) I called Splash to see what sizes and styles they carried. I mean let’s be realistic, most retail shops won’t carry XXL (the top size I needed) because it just won’t sell. Splash! confirmed they carried my sizes in both tops and bottoms, so I decided it was worth a visit.
Splash has a lot of cute suits meant for lounging around the hotel infinity pool, not for getting in the water, playing around in the surf, or doing anything but lying in a cabana with a pair of 6″ heels on. Much like Cat K. I have to say, I need a more functional suit that a brazilian butt, fringe coated, strapless two piece (btdubbs, HG does have bikini bottoms with brazilian butts). They do carry a large selection of HG stuff, and in various sizes, all the way from XS to XXL.
Their staff was super friendly and helpful. Once in the changing room, Emi, who was helping me, came and checked in on me every 5 minutes to make sure I didn’t need anything.
They also have a 10% discount for checking in on your Unilocal app and a standing 10% discount with military ID. I ended up walking away with a reversible HG two piece for under $ 80. I know that sounds like a lot, but I have purchased tops made for D-​DD cups from online stores and specialty bathing suit shops and the top alone was $ 150, so to get a whole suit for just over half of that was a steal to me! So as far as I am concerned, this place is moderately priced and not pricey at all.
At any rate, it is worth a look and your time.

Great selection and a helpful staff, but pricey for sure. They are really great about helping you mix and match sizes to find the right fit. However, I only made a purchase thanks to a Groupon, which brought my bikini down from $ 66 to $ 36. I think that’s a fair deal, considering that I was limited to basic, one-​color separates. The really nice, patterned stuff runs $ 100+, which is way beyond my beach budget, even with the discount.
Overall, a nice shop, but I wish I had more to choose from in a reasonable price range. Also, beware — the Groupon ad lists a variety of store items and prices, including slippers and bags, to entice you, but the certificate can only be used for clothes or swimwear, where it’s hard to find anything less than $ 40 a piece.

I remember Splash! from when I was a kid visiting Ala Moana. The selection back then wasn’t that great (way too geared towards tourists) but today it’s THE BEST in Honolulu!
I had been searching for a suit for two years, going to all the Brazilian style shops in Honolulu but avoiding Splash because it was a little out of my price range. Fortunately, a Groupon deal helped with that :)
Even though I tried on 20+ swimsuits, the staff was super friendly and patient. When I finally found the perfect suit, (imported from Barcelona), they impressed me with their Groupon fluency and even took Discover.
Two suggestions for improving the store: better lighting in the dressing room and somewhere to set my stuff while trying suits on. The largest dressing room has a bench but the smaller ones could use a stool or chair.
Overall, I couldn’t have been happier with my experience and I love my new suit!

They carry a large selection of Honey Girl bathing suits which are hands down, the BEST suits for surfing. I’ve tried Pualani, Raisins, Rip Curl, O’Neil, and Hurley but none of these brands come even close to HG. HG suits are durable, in beautiful prints, styles & colors, AND THEY STAY ON WHILE YOU’RE SURFING!!!

Splash! is not cheap. Then again, bathing suits aren’t all that cheap. Great customer service here and I like that you can mix-​and-​match tops & bottoms.

During every visit to Hawaii (once a year), we make an effort to stop by Splash! Hawaii. It’s literally a sea of bathing suits all color-​coordinated throughout the store. It’s conveniently located in the Ala Moana Shopping center next to the food court. If you bloat easily, make sure you stop by the bathing suit store first to try on their fabulous suits!
We normally buy Splash!‘s private line separates, so it is very affordable; their full-​set bathing suits are moderately priced. It’s almost impossible for us to leave the store without purchasing something as their customer service is SUPERB and their friendly wardrobe specialists are always there with their help and advice.
We will forever be their loyal customers and recommend everyone to shop here.
