Great customer service, nice little shop next to the beach. Items are a bit pricey, but everything seems well made and looks genuine and from Hawaii. Got several souvenirs here, everyone loved them.

We paid for 4 Shark Tooth necklaces($ 10 each) and when we got back to our hotel there was 1 in the bag. We didn’t open the folded bag or leave it anywhere for anyone to tamper with. Went back to the store for the checkout person to do the right thing but instead she refused to give us the 3 more we paid for. What a terrible customer service experience!

From the moment we stepped into Soul Lei, we knew we had to make a purchase. This wasn’t because of sales associate pressure, but because we were given personalized, attentive help from a manager who cared greatly about her job. As the hubby perused the shoe aisle, we chatted the kindly manager up and she explained the history of Soul Lei, which began as a local’s dream and has since turned into several stores all over the islands. She helped hubby try on umpteen pairs of shoes, never complaining or diverting her attention. I checked out everything else in the store and loved looking at the higher end(but not expensive) island clothing, jewelry, and accessories. This store is much more than a Men’s Clothing store — it is a women’s, children’s, men’s store that lives up to its name — in a world where customer service is an afterthought and quality comes at a high price, this store retains a whole heck of a lot of Soul. Check it out, make a purchase, and help local business!
