History

Established in 1977.

Smokey Road Publishing started as the Smokey Road Band on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, in August 1977, the same month Elvis died.

In 1980, Gene Clark, formerly of The Byrds, joined Smokey Road for a while. Smokey Road Publishing blog was first posted March 17, 2008.

Our catalogue includes songs, lyrics, poems, illustrations and photos. All works are created in beautiful Waikiki Beach, Hawaii.

Our recent new blogs are Ice Cream Aloha, The Good Poet, and Enjoy and Play On.

I am the Author/​Owner of Smokey Road Publishing LLC.

In August 1977 I founded the Smokey Road Band My catalogue of original songs, lyrics, and poems is administered by Smokey Road Publishing LLC.

My current interest is in poetics and branding theory.

I hold degrees of MS Biology and BA Music.
