Welcome to the Plethora of Sanrio goods. They have most sanrio characters old as well as new. They even carry some limited release items, which is very cool! This store does not have AC so be warned you will leave quite sweaty.

Sanrio continues to be one of my most favorite stores to go to. As a child, it was a must to have Hello Kitty pens and pencils, the pencil box organizer with the built in pencil sharpener and Hello Kitty notepads to write notes to your bff in school. As an adult, I still love to come here either by myself or with my daughter in tow. My newest favorite character, Gudetama(lazy egg), is a wonderful addition to the variety of figures Sanrio carries. Some items such as purses, blankets and luggage, are very pricey but the small items such as pens and erasers have always been reasonable. There is a large selection of items at this store and almost always a promotion. My daughter recently picked out a small cross body bag and some folders and got a free Hello Kitty shopping bag with her purchase. If anyone needs to buy a gift for a little girl, this is an excellent place to go to. Whether it’s school supplies, stickers, purses and wallets or other tons of cute stuff, you can find it here! I also love the fact that they support the Hawaiian Humane Society by selling cute shirts. A portion of sales go to the HHS. I have always loved shopping here and probably will for a very long time!

I didn’t even realize that Sanrio closed! I honestly don’t go to the mall as often as I used to. When I do come to the mall, its not very often that I’m down at this side either. However, this trip to the mall was specifically for Sanrio. Lucky for me they were open! Sheesh, I recently found out that they were closed for renovations and only recently reopened. This store has a lot of ‘Hawaii’ Hello Kitty merchandise, which I can see being a big buy for tourist and other Hello Kitty lovers. This trip to Sanrio, I was trying to find a present for a friends birthday. Which was super easy becuase there was so much awesome Hello Kitty stuff to choose from. I also wanted to get some Gudetama stuff for myself. I just love the new sanrio character! I was disappointed to see how little things they had with the Gudetama character. They literally only had 1 small shelf of things, with maybe 3 or 4 different items D:

Yay! A Sanrio store! They closed all of the Sanrio stores on the east coast so I was very happy to visit one once again. I ended up spending $ 100 and got some cute goodies :) there is a decent selection here with stuff for every age/price range.

It’s opened! Very nice and clean. Quite spacious with limited things than usual but great deals. 5 for $ 10 deals and a 25% off one item coupon running to the end of March 2015. They’re having a grand opening celebration on Saturday March 21, 2015 where Hello Kitty will be present in person :)

Hello Kitty. Hello Hello Kitty. The store recently changed owners and was closed for renovation, however they’ve reopened. It’s in the same space by the old Foodland location on the backside of Ala Moana. The store is more brightly lit and filled with more Hello Kitty everywhere. There’s a lot more merchandise in the store. They have a lot more clothing and more tourist items it seems like. They still have a lot of cute stuff for the house, school, etc. There is a huge wall full of stuffed Hello Kittys of all sizes. I just want to cuddle them all. The workers still seem to be the same. They were friendly and helpful. I’m glad that the store was able to remain in the mall… seeing Hello Kitty always brings a smile to my face… even if she has no mouth to smile back.

Newly renovated, looks very nice. Removed the café and entire store has a very bright and open feel to it. Went there on March 1, 2015.
