Love Salim ! He is such a cheerful person with a great attitude. If your feeling a little blue go get your hair done with Salim, not only will you leave looking good but feeling in better spirits as well.
He does a great Job and is so patient with me. I always ask for outrageous things and he pretty much gives me what I want but he also pulls me back to reality if I get a little out of control. He often reminds me that I need to keep my hair healthy. He is a good consultant and gives you great advice and knows how to gently steer you away from anything that may be too much for your hair to handle.
He works so hard on my hair and I appreciate the time and talent he has to meet my needs. He is a great hair styles and great human being. He likes to joke around and has a colorful sense of humor. Roll with it he is fun.
Leave him a great tip. He deserves it. It’s a feel good experience when your in his presence. Smiles all the way around.

Taking care of my hair is one of the most important things I like to do in self-​love.
My stylist, Salim, is one of my best kept secrets, until now. Even as I write this I don’t want the word to get out. But, after all these years of what he has done for my hair and my spirits, I figured I can give him something back.
Salim’s story is unique and I won’t give you all the details so that you’ll have something to talk about if/​when you do go to see him.
Salim knew at a very young age that he had a talent and passion for hair, for making people (especially women) beautiful. He has trained and worked around the world and somehow made his way to and fell in love with Hawaii.
He’s been here for more than 20 – 25 years, so you can consider him local. Just yesterday he ate fried rice as comfort food.
Like a good bartender, you always get a bit more than you expect from Salim. As my stylist, Salim not only gives a great cut or color service, I also get to hear stories about his adventures, a listening ear, and words of wisdom, as I sit and receive my pampering.
Even though I’m not one to sit still for long, I enjoy my 2 hours at the salon. It’s never a dull moment with Salim. Talk about someone who knows how to live and love life! Oh, and when he sees that I’m getting fidgety, he sings and dances along to the salon music to keep things entertaining.
There’s so much to say about him, and so much that you can only experience for yourself.
Over the years, Salim has become a trusted confidant and I won’t let anyone else cut my hair!

Salim is great! He always brings a smile to my face and is open and honest about how to help me stay beautified! I can always get an appoinment within a week of calling, he always makes me feel special and we chat about everything! The ladies love that accent too!
