History

Established in 1976.

Beginning as a small antique store on the Big Island of Hawaii, Robyn Buntin of Honolulu has grown to become one of the largest and finest art and antique galleries in Hawaii. Eaton Square in Waikiki was the first location in Honolulu and a second location on Maunakea Street was added 2 years later. After another 10 years in Chinatown, the gallery moved to Beretania Street, one block away from the Honolulu Academy of Arts. With its gallery on the entire ground floor of the Hawaii Opera Plaza, the showroom displays the mixture of Asian and Polynesian artwork that reflect Hawaii’s unique aesthetics. The gallery also participates in many international exhibitions each year around the world, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.
