Let me say, and let this be heard throughout this Unilocal world. This place is bombdotcom. I only reserve that saying for strictly delicious food stuff, however, I feel that this place warrants such awesomeness.
There’s no good part about getting into a car fight with a wall that left my bumper striped with red and white like a candy cane (festive, but not very fitting — it’s only November!) And on top of that, having a damaged headlight, but this place and the people working there made me feel better about my situation. I felt that my car was in good hands.
The owner was pretty on it throughout this entire ordeal. He was friendly, and on other accounts my dad went to this guy before for mechanical advice and he didn’t charge my dad or anything but offered to help him with it. We went to other places to see if they could repair my car, but we ended up coming back to this guy. Within 3 days I was able to get my car all shiny and like new; well, look at that, my past dents and dings that were once there was gone. The paint, shiny like new.
If my car or I decide to repaint my car with more candy cane stripes due to hitting inanimate objects again, I will be going to visit them again.

We have been working with Rob for years, and he always does a great job. We recently had some damage from a fight with a parking garage pole, my car lost. Rob fixed it up, good as new at a good price.

So awesome! I put minor scratches on my borrowed car. Another Unilocal body shop said I needed paint and would not even try buffing. I didn’t get a name, but the man at R N was professional and listened to me. He buffed out the scratches and had the car looking like new in the promised 2 hours! I would highly recommend this place. They know how to do business! Try what the customer is asking and see the results! THANK YOU!

I live close to this repair shop, and even though it’s tucked between two buildings, I still managed to spot it on my daily drives down Kapahulu Avenue.
So after a couple brutal beatings with a wall (OK, OK, it was my fault… In my haste to rush into work, I scraped my car while trying to park it in a garage), the passenger side of my 2000 Lexus RX 300 now had unsightly black scratches running along the side. And with a cream colored car, it was just obviously ugly.
And, being materialistic (we all are to some extent, #amirite?), the thought of the black scratches left me queasy and embarrassed anytime I drove the car around.
So I stopped in on a Thursday morning. A man with a rad hairstyle (a cross between a ponytail and a mullet) noticed me, smiled, and gestured for me to park. Another man came out, and introduced himself as Ron.
I told him my dilemma: I didn’t care about any underlying issues, like dents or how EFFED up my door was now. I simply said I cared about aesthetics, and was there a quick fix he could do?
He disappeared for a few moments, came back with a small jar of paint, and said «You’re in luck!» Ron told me he recently touched up a car with similar paint as mine. Then he proceeded to paint the scratches, and even did other small ones on my bumper (not my fault, btw!)
Then he gave me the rest of the jar of paint, and refused any money. I was floored.
Ron is honest, helpful, kind, and damn good at what he does.
I plan on coming back for real work, and I’ve no doubt his team can do wonders on a beat up car.

I went in to repair my kia optima after a small accident and Rob started work the same day. He was very friendly, easy to work with, and made my life much easier. I even think he vacuumed the inside of my car while it was there. It’s always a stressful having your car worked on but I felt much better at this shop than many of the other shops I visited.

Rob is Awesome!!! My husband had got into an accident his front end was damaged. When we picked up our Truck he was very professional about going over what was repaired.

I had some major body panel damage on my car after an accident at work. Front bumper, headlight, hood, and fenders were all scratched. I’m a gear head and a stickler for details, so I looked for the guy with the best work I could find. After a recommendation from some friends, I gave Rob at RN a call.
Rob is a seriously-​local guy and does most of the work in his shop; put that in your mind when you deal with him and he’s a great guy. He won’t answer the phone with «RN Auto Body, how may I help you?» like a secretary would. He says hello, you say what you need, and then make an appointment.
We met for estimates, and the next day he emailed me the formal estimate paperwork for insurance. We scheduled some time and I dropped off my scratched-​up girl. Here’s where the local thing comes into play: he won’t really call with updates until the car is ready. Instead, I kept calling him for updates, and he let me know he was going a day over the estimate. No big deal; I was enjoying the rental car anyways.
In the end my car looked immaculate. He covered up ALL of the rock chips covering the entire front bumper, the dinged hood was straight as an arrow, and the brand-​new fender was perfectly paint-​matched to OEM. He even gave me a deal on some rear-​bumper work that I had him do on the side.
The hood has a few new massive rock chips (thanks Honolulu City & County!) and a long scratch on the door (thanks VFX guy from work!) so I’m taking it back to Rob for touch-​ups. I’m sure all will go well.
