Always clean and neat. Usually they offer a sample because of their standard service requirement. Fresh veggie and products they use. Orange chickens are frozen and sometimes I can taste chemical. So I prefer not to eat or feed it to my kids but they like it… I like how they list calories on each item too. Fish items are added and it’s pretty good.

Had a good experience here tonight-the lady working was really nice, offering us samples and just talking to us. Service was friendly, fast, and generous portions. Yum

One star for the typical Panda food, and another for the decent service that I’ve received DURINGTHEDAY in the past. Tonight, however, it was a much different situation. I checked the hours online, as I was on my way home and needed to pick up a quick dinner for the family. Not sure which site it was, but it said 10:30 — 9:30. I arrived at 8:40 to a long line of patrons but barely any food– NORICE, NONOODLES, NOVEGGIES. The only items left were eggplant tofu and some kind of spicy beef. Everyone was asking for things like orange chicken, to which the worker replied, «No, too late. We closing in 20 minutes.» Seriously? Several people, including myself, walked out without purchasing the cold crusty leftovers. I don’t know what time they stop cooking, but it’s well before closing. And it’s Friday for crying out loud! Ugh.

If I could, I’d rate this review with negative stars! I’ve never been so irritated ordering takeout in my life! Should’ve followed my instincts and refrained from stepping foot into this dining facility. Once in the door, I had to wait 15 mins before I was able to place my order. After that was over and done with, I stood there for another 10 mins waiting to pay. This establishment needs to be more organized with their customer service! If more food is being made for a customer, they should keep the line moving by putting their order(s) on the side, while allowing other customers who have their complete order(s) move ahead to pay. Instead, the line is held up going out the door because, we’re all at a standstill waiting on a customer whose 8+ individual side orders aren’t ready yet. I’m sorry to say. .. But, I have absolutely NODESIRE to return to this location anytime soon.

Had no complaints up till now but the new server was rude and the amount of servings very small.

Panda’s kids meals are usually a good deal. But I don’t think it’s fair for Panda to increase the kids meal to $ 6.00 then limit the amount of main dish(ribs 3pcs or any shrimp dish 4pcs) and on top of that charge an additional $ 1.50. May as well get their bowl.

This is only one of a handful of take out choices in the Hawaii Kai area. Stopped by at about 4:00 pm today since I didnt feel like cooking, I decided on Panda. Upon entering the store, there was not one person standing behind the counter and when I approached the front, a server quickly slipped up from the side. I immediately noticed that most of the serving pans were empty or near empty. I ordered 3 plates to go and selected what items were available which were the ones that was another $ 1.50 in addition. Each time I selected one of these dishes, the server would remind me «this is $ 1.50 more». On the 3rd time, I finally repeated it to her! My three plates ended up some change short of $ 30! I dont mind paying the price but to pick from dried out food and empty dishes is not a good experience!

I like the food here, not many choices in HK. The service on the line is often slow and they run out of items on a regular basis

I love this place! I know what a lot of you will say, that it’s not true Chinese, but hear me out. I’ve eaten at a lot of Chinese restaurants in this town and I can’t help but be amazed at the quality and great flavor of the food here. Their Shanghai angus steak is to die for. Tender, spicy, and quality cuts of beef. It’s $ 1.50 more but well worth every penny! Their chicken green bean is chicken breast, and we all know how rare that is to find here in the Islands! Their Chow Fung is also very good with cabbage and a delicious sauce. This is not your mainland Panda Express at the airport! Good Asian chefs here. They do a nice job and they keep the restaurant spotless. The price is also very good. 2 item with starch is $ 8.20, 3 item is $ 9.70. Drinks are also reasonable S 1.90, M 2.10, L 2.30. They also have great unsweetened tea, which is a draw for me. Always trying to avoid the sugared and artificially sweetened fountain drinks. This place fits my needs and did I mention the lemon grass in the Shanghai Beef? One last incentive is for you to go the web site on you receipt and get a code for 1 free extra entrée for your next purchase of a two entrée plate. It works! In Hawaii Kai and hungry? The best Asian in this area! Hawaii Kai Town Center.

I tend to eat at this Panda Express a lot not only because it’s good but because it’s literally a five minute drive from my house. The establishment is very clean and the workers are friendly. I always order my regular plate; half and half of fried rice and chow fun, orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. I like to take my food outside and eat by the marina whether it’s during the day or night. That’s as relaxing as it gets :)

Love this place! Service is great. Staff is friendly. Restroom majority of the time really clean. Food… is a hit or miss. Fired rice 80% of the time tastes burnt. Steak or chicken entrée’s maybe about 20% of the time tastes over cooked.

Poor customer service. I normally look at the menu while waiting for them to open. The manager was rude and told me to leave and come back after they opened. So he wanted me to come back in ten minutes after he already pissed me of. Yeah right.

Panda is good in a pinch. It’s not the most fabulous«Chinese» food on Oahu but it’ll do. My go to entrée is the sweet fire chicken breast. The staff do a decent job of keeping the entrees hot and fresh. Sometimes service can be slow when there is only two people working but I don’t mind being patient. Dinner time on a Thursday night, I’ve seen this place packed with a line out the door! I guess no one really likes to cook in Hawaii Kai. It’s cheap fast eats, can’t have too high expectations.

Worst panda on the island. I got the chowfun which was pretty good except they only gave half serving. Other pandas I’ve been to give a mound of noodles. Here the noodles didn’t go past the divider in the styrofoam container. Second choice I got the beijing beef which is my all time favorite dish at panda. I literally got 20 – 25 pieces of dime size fried scraps. Third choice was beef broccoli, I counted exactly 3 pieces of beef and 5 pieces or broccoli. I should’ve taken pictures and emailed them to panda… so lame.

I cannot even begin to tell you what a horrible experience it was at this take out restaurant! I simply asked that I not receive my take out in a Styrofoam container. We were told it would be extra to put our food in the little Chinese take out box instead of the Styrofoam. They then proceeded to select the smallest of the containers which are ¼ the serving size they would have put in the Styrofoam container. We were so off put by their complete lack of customer service, we paid for the food and left. When we got the food home, we could not open the little containers. They had wrapped them several times in scotch tape, requiring to rip open the containers. Never again would we return to this restaurant. I realize this is a Chinese take out, but pretending you do not understand English is no excuse for rude behavior.

It tastes so good but I would much prefer all fresh and homemade Chinese food. It is great service especially when you are on a rush and don’t have time to sit down and eat. The older lady there is so sweet and knows me :) I am so in love with their Golden Shrimps(I think thats what it called lol)

Great place to get some«chinese» fast food. People seem to go in groups because sometimes it’ll be empty and the next thing you know, the line is out the door! Don’t let that deter you though, it does move quickly. But that’s good because it seems like the food is never sitting around too long. There’s always a guy cooking fresh batches and you always see them replenishing. I love how the fried rice is made with brown rice now! This past time it was really burnt and flavorless but it’s always been consistently good before that so i’ll take that as a fluke. Orange chicken of course, beef broccoli, sweet fire chicken, beijing beef, string bean chicken, and the new grilled teri chicken are all good! Excellent location as well since if it’s packed and nowhere to sit, you can take it outside and sit at the marina

I’m just gonna say it. Honestly, I am not the biggest fan of Chinese food. However, I’ve been to other Panda’s and I’m pretty sure I know how things should taste. I ordered a plate with fried rice and chow fun, beef broccoli, Fire cracker chicken and vegetarian spring roll+sweet and sour sauce. The two starches, A-OK… the other three sides, not my favorite. The broccoli was over steamed and tasted a bit watery? I was hoping for a nice crunch from the broccoli. :(Usually one of my favorites. The spring roll was really wet and soggy, although the outside was crunchy. Disappointed there :/lastly, the firecracker chicken wasn’t anything special. It wasn’t awful but it wasn’t great. I’d have to say it was more on the saltier side too. Overall, not the best experience with the way the food tasted but the restaurant staff was efficient and nice. The fountain drink was refreshing! AND it was pretty busy! People sure do love their Chinese food on a Friday night!
