I been here few times with my family. It’s a great place to try something different than the Cantonese Chinese food. You have to go to the counter to order your food. Very friendly and fast. The price for the food is reasonable and some noodles are really cheap. They also have drinks on the side where you can just grab it and pay for it in the end. They have Winter melon tea for only 1.5, homemade soy milk, and some other Asian can drinks. Their food come in really big portion. I’d say it’s better than most Chinese noodle place I tried.

There are only a handful of taiwanese restaurants on the island and KC is one of them. KC is relatively authentic and arguably the best taiwanese restaurant that we have in Hawaii. Throughout the past several years, they have moved from location to location. Now they are back to where they first started — in the Chinese Cultural Plaza. This time around, I ordered my two favorite dishes from their menu: braised pork belly with rice and pork intestines. The pork belly is very flavorful and tender. The fat on it is melt-in-the-mouth. The pork intestines may not be for everyone, but I personally love it. It is soft, yet somewhat chewy. It’s garnished with green onion & ginger and topped with shoyu paste. The prices are pretty reasonable, but keep in mind that many of their dishes are small in portion. Certain items on the menu may also run out throughout the day. My family and I will continue to patronize KC as long as they keep up the quality of their food.

This is a must good place in chinatown! Delicious and Big beef bowl noddles that will fill your stomach! First time visit with no regret! Certainly will come back again! The only down side is that the entrance looks a bit old and crappy, not very attractive. But the food is amazing!
