Description

Specialties

Nico’s Pier 38 is a seafood restaurant located pierside on Pier 38 just off Nimitz Hwy in Honolulu, Hawaii. We proudly boast the freshest fish on the island and being located next to the fish auction, we can deliver our promise. Customers can dine on the harbor and watch the fishing boats that bring it all in. We offer a value experience during the day with cashiers and gourmet plate lunches in «green» styrofoam plates, we have our own fish market with a poke bar and our home smoked fish. A night we offer full service with a full bar and «plein air» dining by harbor lights. If fish is your passion, please check us out.

History

Established in 2004.

Nico’s started off as a tiny plate lunch joint in the POP building on Pier 38. Offering the freshest fish, finely prepared at the best price was the concept of french chef/owner Nico Chaize. 8 years later, Nico’s had become a local favorite and they decided to expand to a 5500 square foot restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, full bar and a fish market. There is ample parking, breezy fans keep customers cool and live entertainment.

Business Owner

Chef Nico Chaize is a native of Lyon, France which makes him no stranger to food. Upon his arrival to Hawaii he fell in love with everything local including his wife and the island cuisine. Nico’s offers the results of the marriage of Nico’s french palate and local flavors. Most known for the freshest fish on the island, Nico also manages to offer pizza, hamburgers and a wide variety of soups and salads including daily and nightly specials. Nico now runs effectively two restaurants and a fish market. The value concept during lunch offers gourmet plate in styrofoam plates. The night offers full service with harbor lights views.
