It is so hard now days to find someone that really knows people and hair, but Naamon is that person! He looks at the shape of your face, likes, dislikes, and all the little things you would never think of to help you determine what kind of hair works for you. Each person is treated as an individual and not just another head of hair or paycheck. There have been times when I have no idea what I want, sit in the chair, and told him to do what he wanted for fun… and it came out amazing!!!
I love that he disagrees with you if he thinks it won’t come out correct. It shows that he really knows what he’s doing. His expertise and personality makes him someone that everyone should know.
I will probably never have anyone else touch my hair ever again!!! Lol

Naamon has been cutting & highlighting my hair for the last 15 years. I’ve recommended him to many friends and my son’s first hair cut was a special event with Naamon. Two years ago I moved to the mainland, however, I still come to Hawaii twice a year to visit. Guess what? I make it a point to get in to see Naamon during my visit for a cut & highlights. That’s because I refuse to replace him w a stylist on the mainland. I love leaving his chair w a salon-​styled blow-​out! He’s the best for color, highlights, straightening, cuts (male, female & kids) & blow-​outs!

Naamon has been my hair colorist and stylist for many years. My hair is double processed with blonde highlights and brown toning. My hair is never dried out from the color processing & he keeps my long hair trimmed with gradual layers.
I’ve seen him cut men’s and children’s hair and he also does Brazilian blow outs & Chi hair straightening.

I met Naamon many years ago, and he had given me the best haircut I’ve ever had with the perfect layers to frame my face. I got many compliments, and I ended up going back to get highlights and color which were just perfect! He’s been my hairstylist since, and it’s been over a decade of different styles, colors, highlights and perms. Once you find that one awesome hairstylist who can make your hair fabulous, you become a follower.

Purchased a Groupon under Hair by Naamon Jay for the full highlights & haircut package $ 50. After leaving 3 messages, finally got a call back and he said he charges ADDITIONAL $ 40 for long hair because he expects to take up to 3 hrs & more product. I suggested to cut her hair first at 3 in before doing highlights. And he said it would still be additional $ 40. I said he was shady, he was the first vendor of all my years of purchasing hair packages through Groupon that none of this was disclosed prior to purchasing, and he blames Groupon. Many businesses use Groupon to attract clients because they’re either new or want more business. This guy complains about all the weirdos (his word, not mine) that come because it’s so cheap. Hello! That’s the whole point to be inexpensive so clients will try you out. Don’t advertise on Groupon & waste our time. There’s more deserving business I’d rather invest in.

Naamon is awesome! He has many years of experience as a haircut and color specialist and really does an amazing job. He also has a great personality and is very easy to work with. Highly recommend him.
