Momentum Multisport

I miss these guys! They closed down about a year ago I think. From what I gathered, the owner of the shop decided to close and pursue another bike related venture, which are bicycle rentals in Kailua. I think the name of his new rental business is B-​Cycle or something?
Even though I never bought anything from them, they had a decent selection for such a small shop. Even had a massive clearance sale to go out with a bang when they were closing. Unfortunately, I was late to that and most of the good stuff was either gone or not my size. I hope we can see another little shop like this open elsewhere and have it thrive. Maybe leeward side or north shore, since we got basically nothing for those areas. Or central in Mililani, too!

Keith is an excellent bike mechanic. One of the best i’ve had work on my bikes. I really don’t see myself bringing it anywhere else now? One of the first tune ups where i actually felt the difference while riding. I seriously was like, «whoa, nice!!!»

I bought my Scott bike from the store this past March to do the Honolulu triathlon. This is pretty much a triathlon store that sells bikes and bike accessories (bike/​tri shorts, shirts, helmets, bike shoes, not so much running shoes, sunglasses, etc.). They carry Scott, Fuji, and some other bikes. The staff is super friendly, and they have 2 mechanics who really know their stuff. Momentum also organizes weekly group rides on Saturday mornings for all levels.
