History

Established in 1984.

Started as a small two treatment room dental office in Kahala. Eventually moved to a new office in the Waialae Building in Kaimuki which I practiced out of for 20 years. In January of 2013, we moved into a brand new, state of the art dental office in the Hale Pawaa Medical Building on the corner of S Beretania and Keeaumoku Streets.

Dr. Nishime received his B. A degree in zoology from the University of Hawaii in 1978 and received his DDS degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1981. He was inducted in the Tau Kappa Omega dental honor society while in dental school. He’s been in the private practice of dentistry since 1981. He was awarded a fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologiists in 1995, a fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry in 2002, a fellowship in the Academy of Dentistry International in 2008 and diplomate status by the American Board of Oral Implantology/​Implant Dentistry in 1998. He was awarded the prestigious Honored Fellow status in the Academy of Implant Dentistry in 2015.
