I own a Construction Company with a warehouse/​office in Kalihi and after one of our company vehicles got stolen right in front of our Shop I decided to look for a security company to install security equipment throughout. I was surprised to find than not many companies integrate their security system with their cameras, especially on one easy platform. I was also looking to install a system that was simple to operate but at the same time robust enough to have multiple integrating options of which, as far as I have found, no other security companies offer.
Enter MDH, their system blew me away, they are not only a security company but they do smart home wiring as well that integrates with their security system. Dave, the owner of MDH, explained to me that his system integrates everything seamlessly, from the lights, to the door locks to the security down to the cameras and more. Dave told me about how his system was a preventative system, that it will deter any would be intruder by making my office appear that someone is still inside, What a concept!!! I tell you what, the system sold itself! I went with a mid-​ranged package but MDH can get you a simple security system to a full blown smart home and that is what I loved about MDH, I am not left wondering if I made the right choice because even their basic system leaves the rest of the security companies in the dust, basically OBSOLETE…
Since MDH has installed the system in our Shop I have got to know Dave very well, he is not only highly knowledgeable in his industry, he is a man of honesty and of high integrity that stands behind his product, which is becoming a very rare thing in this day in age. I believe in Dave and his product so much that we are now having his system installed, as a standard, In every home that we build and my home included. Introducing an outside company to every one of our clients, especially one that will deal with our clients in such a personal level is a big decision for us as we pride ourselves on quality, customer service, and zero complaints, all of which I am more than confident in MDH will, without a doubt, uphold with the same principles. My decision to place these in all of our homes we build comes at a price and directly effects our bottom line but I believe in the product, its capabilities and see that this system is an absolute must in every home of which only MDH can provide. Check out their products, I am sure that you will find MDH systems to be far beyond any other systems capabilities and they are at a great value, I would not have them in all of our homes otherwise!!!
I know this review may seem totally biased and I’m here to tell you that it is, I believe in what MDH is doing and providing but more importantly, I believe in Dave! If you want a full blown smart home or just a basic security system start with MDH, you will not regret it.

Living far from Hawaii has been very stressful for my family and I. My lola lives alone. And we know she wants to be independent and doesn’t want anyone to fuss over her. But we can’t help it. We had considered putting in a security system in the house but didn’t think it would be affordable. Luckily we had a friend who had hired Dave to do work for them and they were really happy with the results. We couldn’t believe how cheap it was to put a system in! Not only did we put a few cameras outside but we also put one inside the main living area. He also installed a light switch that my grandmother can turn on from her phone. So when she’s out late with friends, she turns on the light to make it look like someone is home. We can check the cameras on our phones anywhere in the world! And my grandmother can check the cameras on her phone. She says she feels so safe now. If she hears a noise outside she just turns her phone on and checks the cameras. And if the security system goes off, we are alerted instantly. Being away from home has been so hard. But thanks to Dave, he’s made being away a little easier. We can always check on our grandmother to make sure she is ok. And that’s priceless!

We can’t thank Dave enough! We had some home renovations done and wanted to add a security system to it. We hired a well known alarm company to install a system. They drilled holes in our walls to run the cables but they ran several everywhere but didn’t use them all or patch the ones they didn’t use. They didn’t even hook up all the cameras. We asked around for help and found Dave. He was so professional. He helped patch the holes and rerun the cables so they were less noticeable. He spent the time to show us how to use the security cameras and even added automatic doors and lights that we control on our phone. We now have peace of mind when our kids are home and when the house is empty when we are at work and school. He was so wonderful to work with. Thank you Dave!
