apparently Unilocal took down my previous review of this mcdonalds, so im going to put it back up here because these people are morons. This mcdonalds for the past year and a half or so would purposely screw up my orders giving me the wrong items despite confirming the correct items SEVERALTIMES throughout the ordering process. How does one confirm that i ordered a diet coke at the intercom, then at the window that i pay at, then again at the next window where i receive my food, only to get a regular coke instead of a diet coke? Not to mention each one of those idiot kids working there had this little smirk on their face because they know they were fucking with my order. At first, they would charge me the wrong thing at the intercom and my order would actually be incorrect on the ordering screen. Sometimes i wouldn’t pay attention to the details and not realize they screwed it up. Once i realized they were screwing up my orders on purpose, i started to make sure what was on the screen was exactly what i ordered. Because i began doing this, they started not even putting my order on the screen and just told me to «drive forward» so they can then use the excuse of charging me for the wrong thing«on accident». After complaining to their corporate office, they stopped screwing up my orders on purpose and now waste my fucking time by ONLY having me deal with new recruits. They will have me sit there and wait for their new recruit to punch in my order or retrieve the food once the order has been taken. The old crew trainer that works the morning shift seems to be the only consistent employee that i see there all the time and is probably the one that likes to talk shit about their customers to the new recruits.

I live around the Salt Lake/Moanalua area and it is such a convenient location for me. Open 24 hours a day at the drive thru(the inside is open late as well), this is the only fast food joint that is pretty much open within a half mile to a mile radius — and probably more to be honest. It’s neither completely up on the hilltop or down below into the former ‘lake,’ so it’s easily accessible on foot as well. Nowadays, the options are wider compared to before, as there are healthier variants to the fried or meaty menu items you’re used to. It depends on what I’m craving on that day, but I usually prefer something in between healthy/fried — the Filet-O-Fish or the Yogurt Parfait. Overall quality of the food has become so-so. You’re either getting a lack of flavor or something overly dressed up in sauces or salt. It’s expected, yet accessible(use your napkins to wipe off any excess). Afternoon rush of kids from school or not, it is going to be busy. Your usual downtimes are right before major eating times, but the turnover for seats are fairly easy to get. The lines go by fairly quickly due to some of the more experienced cashiers, and the atmosphere is decent but starting to get a little worn out because of the foot traffic. On a side note, is it weird that I’m writing a review while on my laptop at this very McDonald’s right now? Probably not, because everyone’s paying more attention to one another. Hey, free Wi-Fi!

Do not go to this McDonalds. Today my family and I experienced racism from a manager named Venus. My nephew, who just so happens to be black, filled his hydro flask with a drink, then walked to the cashier to pay for it. When he asked the cashier how much it cost for the drink, a manager butted in and accused him of stealing a drink. First off, my nephew would not ruin his career as a Marine for $ 1.57. He tried to explain to her that he wanted to pay for his drink, instead she rolled her eyes and became sarcastic. She had the worst attitude and continued to use sarcasm and snide remarks. I could not believe that a woman could be so rude and horribly mean to my nephew because of the color of his skin. No one deserves this type of treatment ever. We will never go back to this Mc Donalds ever again, I suggest you do the same.

We went here for breakfast this morning about 10am. First off you could barely hear the person on the order screen. As we pulled around near the trash bins, along the hill side a McDonald’s employee was throwing big rocks at a mama chicken with her chicks. He threw them so hard one of the baby chick’s fell down the hill side. We pulled up to the first window to pay, I asked for the manager. She didn’t seem too concerned about the incident but said she would go out to see. We had to pull up to the front of the restaurant to wait for our food. When she handed me my food I asked to make sure there were 4 sandwiches with no meat, she said yes. I get home and they all had meat. They screwed up our order even though I confirmed both with the order taker and with the girl that brought our order out. We don’t eat meat so was very upset that they messed up our order. Will not be going back to this location again.

There is one cashier, an older woman, who takes your order efficiently, she’s happy and friendly and genuinely cares about me as her customer. If I’m stuck at her window because there is a long line ahead of me, she makes friendly small talk until the line starts moving instead of closing the window like the young people do! She’s got the«aloha spirit» as well as excellent customer service! Woo hoo!

This is for drive thru. Sometimes can be fast and efficient. They never double check your order though. Gave me apple pies instead of Haupia… Ordered two Portuguese platters and they gave me a spam platter and a platter full of hash browns… come on it’s not hard to work at McDonald’s… Check your order before you leave.

I haven’t been to this McDonald’s in years but I was picking up food at the shopping center and decided to get my son a happy meal as a treat. Mind you, we don’t get McDonalds often so this is a real treat for my son. Anyway, I went through the drive thru which seemed especially slower than usual drive thru’s but no big deal. I order a happy meal & the staff was nice. I did not bother to check my sons food as it is his usual chicken nuggets… I wish I would have though, because when we got home his nuggets were burned and looked so nasty. His fries were soggy. What a mess! He didn’t get to eat any of it. Very disappointed. See the picture I posted for yourself. Won’t be going back there again!

I haven’t been here in years, bit this was a positive experience. The drive thru is very popular and their was a line, but it was moving at a steady pace. The interior was pretty clean and orderly. Only a few of the tables needed to be wiped and when I asked a young man came out to wipe mine down. Compared to other McDonald’s where kids frequent this one was not as obnoxiously loud. It was a really different vibe and it was pleasant. I felt that I could sit there and chill after eating my food. They were quick to take my order too and got it correct the first time around. Everything was hot and tasted good and came out fast. One thing that was bad was the smell of urine as you entered the restaurant near the drive through. The women’s restroom was okay when you sent inside so it must’ve been the men’s restroom. There’s only one stall which is not good with the traffic they had.

The customer service gets 3 stars, they do their job and greet you, considering how busy they are at times, they handle the lines and drive thru pretty well. The food is not always fresh or hot, but consider for fast food and for rush hour, it’s 2 stars. The facility itself is clean and spacious enough to fit families comfortably.

I roll through this McDonald’s drive-thru way too often for my own good but that’s my own issue to work on. I find that this location consistently has prompt and efficient service and my order is typically tasty and accurate. I like that there are a few healthier options available, like the super inexpensive fruit and yogurt parfait, the piping hot oatmeal, and the egg white breakfast sandwiches. If this review is read by management, they should know that Jethro stands out as an excellent employee. If I owned a business, I’d want someone like him providing customer service. He is always friendly, helpful, quick, and polite.

The thing that stands out to me most about McDonald’s is their drive thru! At all hours of the day including in the middle of the night you can get all kinds of food. I have been guilty of getting an occasional McChicken here and there, but my favorite is their new Jalapeño Double! It’s two all beef patties with white cheddar cheese and both fried and sliced jalapenos. It’s an awesome deal at just $ 2 each! Another thing that I love is their iced coffee. It’s so convenient to drive through and pick up one whenever I’m feeling tired. Starbucks really has to have more drive thru locations so I can get my fix. I stopped by tonight with some friends and believe or not, I got an iced coffee! I know that’s a bit crazy considering how late it was, but coffee is a love/hate relationship. Service was very patient as we were not completely sure what to get. The employees were also very fast. No line made it even better!

I mean… this is McDonalds… I don’t expect much. I always come here for a late night snack if I’m really hungry, broke, and nowhere else is open. Everything is average. I really like their new bacon clubhouse burger though, it’s not like their other burgers. As for their fries… it’s really a hit or miss with them(i.e. too salty, no salt, too dry, old, or on those rare occasions, perfect!) There are a few workers that are very friendly and always get my order correct. Then there are those who obviously hate their jobs and always forget at least one or two things i ordered. For example, they often times forget that I order a drink or two and when I ask about them, they give me a really dull look and sarcastically say, «oh.» OH?! I must admit though, this is one of the more clean McDonald’s on the island. But at night, some really sketchy people hang around here and it’s not a good place to be around.

While in Salt Lake yesterday, we needed to get the«Dynamic Duo»(our 3 year old twin daughters) some french fries. Since their carb of choice comes from Micky D’s, we stopped in to the Salt Lake Shopping Center location. In my experience, fast food employees aren’t typically the nicest, most helpful or efficient employees. The employees at this location, however, were the exception to the rule. They were extremely FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, and surprisingly EFFICIENT. Unfortunately, these positives were quickly erased when a fight broke out outside the restaurant between some sketchy characters just as we were leaving :-(

Came home 30 mins ago from this location! While I are my salad half way done I found a wing and claws! And look closely I found a fly or whatever it was! I’m so disgusted!!! You don’t even know! I called to let them know! First the manager answered then said hello once! Then hung up! I called again asking why was I hung up on! Then she told me no one was answering when I said hello ! Then I ask can I speak to manager she goes«yes» then I told her how it found this fly it was a small fly it was huge! Like eww! But any ways she ask me if I kept the plate so she can show the people who makes it but really? Who saves the plate when you live 30 mins away and grossed out? Not me!!! Then she goes«do you want me to replace it» ugh? Does it seem like I wanna eat? I had to ask for my refund! These kind of stuff should be automatic!!! Never again coming here! Gross!!!

Service: 3 stars, order is wrong 1 out of 5 times especially when you have a special order Cleanliness: 5 stars, there’s someone constantly going around to push in chairs, wipe tables, and sweep. The bathroom is clean too. Food: 2 stars, quality sucks but it’s fast food. It’s pretty busy when I come so at least the fries are almost always hot.

Food was typical but different, I def like the pineapple. Probably wasn’t fresh but it was good haha. The teriyaki burger was pretty good I have to admit. I thought the spam and egg breakfast was funny. It was alright, but I’ll stick to making it myself

I don’t know about this McDonald’s location. They recently revamped their drive thru so they now have two areas where you can submit your order. I hate pulling up to the drive thru to place my order, only to roll forward into the second area to have them ask me, «Welcome to McDonald’s, may I take your order?» I usually reply with, «Oh, I uhhh already ordered…» I get annoyed even further when I pull up to the last window and they ask me what I ordered. «So was yours the Big Mac and fries? Or the 10 piece nuggets with the shake?» Before the renovation, this was never a problem… I guess it just goes to show that sometimes, change isn’t good.
