Nothing special. I’d rather find a mom and pops breakfast spot. 3 stars for a quick b. fast by my hotel

After a fabulous Waikīkī bar crawl, I needed to soak up my consumption of libations. This McDonald’s is 24⁄7. The crowd at 2:00AM is quite different than other times. No kids and families, just the working class women of the night. I enjoyed my Bacon Cheeseburger combo with the entertainment of the guests who were quite loud, noisy and lively in a unrestrained way. I’m sure the stress of their profession allows them the pleasure of relaxing. Not with the familiar lifestyle, it was OK! My meal came with a pineapple cup too!

Definitely my favorite McDonald’s here in the US. I love their Hawaiian breakfast which comes with portuguese sausage, rice, eggs and spam. I can eat them every day. So tasty and delicious. Their mouthwatering Haupia pie is to die for… so scrumptious. So sad they only have it in Hawaii.

Never thought I’d be writing a review for McDonald but I just wanna share my experience of trying their«local delux breakfast plate» — which is basically rice, eggs and spam! I love spam, rice and eggs but somehow I’m not such a big fan of this combo set in McDonald. The rice was a bit overcooked and the spam was a bit greasy. Oh well, I guess sometimes it’s still better to stick with the classics — the hotcakes!

A McDonald’s facing the beach! The boyfriend and I went here one morning for breakfast when we stayed in Waikiki. This McDonald’s is a pretty good size, fancy with automatic sliding doors! There really isn’t much to say about McDonald’s since it’s just McDonalds, but I would go here again if I was in Waikiki. I ordered the Hawaiian breakfast that came with rice, spam, and Portuguese sausage. I love that in Hawaii I can get all that at McDonald’s for about $ 5! My boyfriend ordered the regular breakfast platter. Since the beach was right across the street, we decided to eat outside at the beach instead! It was great getting some cheap food to eat right at the beach! Staff was friendly and we got our food fast even though it was busy!

If you’re seeking a drunk/intellectual conversation with a gypsy, ex-prisoner, hobo, struggling guitarist or occasional australian tourist — come visit this location. The staff here is incredible. They are punctual, friendly, patient, and down-to-earth. Get in with one of the workers and they might just give you a re-fill on your complimentary water cup and a free sauce of your choice. Pretty dope.

Your typical McDonald’s. What’s not to like? If you get their extra value meals, they give you a free cup of pineapple. Beware no public washrooms.

I would give them 5 stars if it wasn’t the one time they forgot to include a meal and didn’t want to walk all the way back. Great place to get a vanilla cone after surfing or body boarding in Waikiki. Can’t beat the price. All meals come with a cup of pineapple. Lines are long but goes fast. Ocean view and great people watching.

This is probably the worst mcdonalds ive been to. Not becoz of their food but becoz of their customer service. This was our 2nd time to eat in this place during our 5day vacation(on a Labor Day weekend). It was the same service crew Eriko who served us. At our 1st visit, i was a little bit shocked coz its so unusual for a mcdonalds crew to be grumpy taking our orders. I thought, Oh well i think shes having a bad day. Then the 2nd time around, its her again with the same approach. I asked her for creamer and sugar and she stared at me blankly like for 5 seconds, and i repeated myself then again she stared at me for 2 seconds. I was like, was their something wrong with my face? Did she understand me? On that same time, i came again on the cashier to ask for cups for our water. this time i approached another crew but damn shes the same, she was also grumpy. And that ruined my morning! I hope the management in this location should work on their customer service. Mcdonalds suppose to be a happy place. But not this one! No no!

I’m not a huge fan of the McDonald’s chain, but this one is the nicest in Hawaii. Located along Kalakaua with a view of Waikiki beach, it has a picturesque and bustling area. There are lots of hotels and shopping around, so it’s a great place to stop for a meal or just a drink or ice cream. The building was recently remodeled and is very modern. It has ample outdoor seating, which is perfect to enjoy the ocean air and people watch. People watching is one of the greatest aspects of this location– you will never see stranger characters than while relaxing here. The food is typical McDonald’s fare, consistent with other locations. They have a large staff, so the food is hot and fresh. Plenty of cashiers are also available, so lines don’t get very long despite being busy. Prices are low. Free pineapple with your meal! Make sure to try the local Hawaiian items like taro pie!

This was a great day… as soon as the hand sanitation station needed more of the sanitzing wipes, she was quick to replace it and made sure that the wipes were well stocked and replinished so that people can use it to wipe their hands and keep their fingers clean when eating. I am glad to say that I got to have a great time and making sure that I am going to enjoy my meal. The good thing about this location is the self service drink station. I am glad that this location has self service drink station because you can pick and choose whatever drink you want and not worry about paying more since you already have the cup. The only thing that is needed are restrooms. I would like to see more restrooms inside in case people are in need of a restroom and not go anywhere else, which is a good suggestion as well as keeping it maintained. I am going to say that the lady was nice enough to take our trash for us, which was nice. I will be back the next time I am in the mood for a quick fix whether I am hungry or not.

While in Oahu I had to have a plate with rice at the arches! Place was clean and service was very good. Place gets busy but food is served quickly. For a quick bite I would go here again.

As someone who relies a lot on Unilocal to help guide me to a good dinner, I try to keep things mostly light and positive. It takes a lot for me to take the time to negatively review something. That being said, I wanted to update my review of this particular McDonalds because as time has gone on, they have become much more fluid and consistent. I think once they got a handle on the increased business it was all uphill for them. Thank you!

Am I writing a review about McDonald’s? Really? What’s there to know about McDonald’s that’s so special? Well, when it comes to McDonald’s in Hawaii, there’s plenty. They don’t do McDonald’s like this on the mainland. First off: grease. There is none! Usually McDonald’s is as oily as a beach babe working on her tan. But nope, not in Hawaii. No grease whatsoever. I couldn’t believe it. Second: ultra crispiness & ultra freshness. I’ve never had hash browns so crispy. so fresh. All of the food felt unbelievably fresh compared to the mainland. Third: Spam/Portuguese Sausage/Rice/Pineapple/Haupia Pie. ’nuff said. Hawaiian McDonald’s definitely has higher standards of service than what I’m used to receiving. If you’ve never had McDonald’s in Hawaii, don’t write it off just because it’s McDonald’s. McDonald’s will never be the McSame McStateside for McMe.

I like this McDs as it’s in a great location on Kalakaua, and they have Hawaiian local foods like spam and portuguese sausage for breakfast and saimin the rest of the time. They don’t have saimin listed on the menu, but it is available. I missed out on the haupia pie — I need to try that next time!

Review based solely on the TAROPIE. If you find yourself lucky enough to be in hawaii, make sure you get your ass to a McDonald’s ASAP. The taro pie is fried(!!!) and the filling is just sweet enough, gooey, warm and delicious. YOUHAVETOTRYIT. BEST $ 1YOUWILLEVERSPEND. That is all. Disclaimer: If you don’t like taro, you probably won’t enjoy this. Don’t try it and expect some miracle pie that doesn’t taste like taro #duh

We stayed at the Pacific Beach Hotel and this particular Mcd’s is right across the street. What can one say about Mcd’s? Well this location being in Waikiki is pumping with a lot of tourist, but the staff is well trained and handles the large volume of customers well. They sure can get those orders out quick. One thing I noticed about this location was there was a few dogs that were in the dining area, animal friendly location? You’re not going to see me complain about it. I thought they were so cute! *3.5 Stars
