I’ve been coming to the office of Marsh and Murakami for over 20 years now. They originally were located on S King St before moving to Hale Pawaa on S Beretania St several years ago. Of the many times I’ve come here for appointments this office is busy. I haven’t been to many doctor’s offices but I really appreciate the signs on the wall of: 1) to inform the receptionist if you’ve been waiting for over 30 mins. 2) to inform one of the staff if your phone number, address or insurance carrier changed since your last visit here and 3) to make sure to validate your parking before leaving the office(the stamp is on the counter and you stamp your own ticket) Pretty much closed on major holidays and Sundays, Dr. Marsh is off on Wednesdays and Dr. Murakami is off on Thursdays. Once I had an emergency on a Wednesday but Dr. Murakami was able to assist me. I was surprised and pleased that I was attended to rather than being advised to wait until Dr. Marsh the next business day. Upon arrival, make sure to check-in by writing your name on the clipboard as you need to write your name, which doctor you’re here to see and the time you arrived. At that time it’s highly recommended to have your parking ticket validated with the stamp located on the left side of the counter. The staff here are very friendly but sometimes it’s difficult to get through when calling the office. The phone will ring OR you’ll get a busy signal but you need to keep on trying. They have a spacious waiting room with many magazines and newspaper. If you need to use the restroom the keys are required to enter and the keys can be obtained on the counter. NOTES: 1) Office is closed between 1230pm to 2pm weekdays for lunch break. Saturdays are ½ day with business hours of 8am to 12pm. 2) Just like most doctor offices, you can get your flu shot from here as well. 3) Credit cards accepted here for your co-payment(s).
