Hisashi K.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Yokohama, Japan, Hisashi Kitami has achieved great success in real estate development and brokerage. At the age of 26, he founded List Company, which has grown to more than 300 employees in Japan. In an effort to expand business opportunities, Hisashi obtained the Japan franchise for the Sotheby’s International Realty brand. In 2011, he opened Japan Sotheby’s International Realty in Tokyo and has developed a successful brokerage business, providing clients with international access to real estate opportunities around the world, including Hawaii. Which led him to open LIST Sotheby’s International Realty in Oahu in 2013.

Raised near the beaches of Kamakura, Hisashi is an avid surfer and now spends leisure time in the water off Honolulu, a city he has visited more than 100 times, and now considers his second home.
