Leis of Hawaii

We were surprised to learn from our flight attendant that this is the company our daughter ordered our Lei’s from.
He gave us a business card after we shared popcorn with him.
Needless to say it’s a small world.
The lei’s were absolutely stunning!
I hated to throw them into the ocean they were so fresh and so beautiful but we want to return to the Islands… So they had to go.
On the business side of things our daughter had a good experience and would do business with Lei’s of Hawaii again.

Very disappointed. I purchased two Unilocal deals in Feb, one for me, one as a gift. I called ahead to make sure that when I was in Hawaii I could walk into a store and buy the leis I needed for my wedding. They said yes. I also had my friend, who I bought the gift voucher for do the same. She got the same answer.
I get to Hawaii, go to the store the man on the phone said to go to, and they tell me they can’t accept the vouchers. They call the owner for me and he, VERY angrily, tells me that the Unilocal voucher is no good. That Unilocal is bad. That he’s no longer doing the voucher or business with Unilocal.And that I’d need to talk to Unilocal for my refund. He says he doesn’t have my money.
I’m in the process of doing such. Very shitty experience. Don’t waste your time.

I recently took advantage of a Unilocal deal & decided to try out Leis of Hawaii for the first time. I had never heard of them, and the deal definitely drew me in, but their prices were also very reasonable & they delivered, so I was excited to give them my business.
I was not disappointed! Although there was some confusion with the Unilocal deal (it was no longer valid :/​), my leis were delivered right on time, they were beautiful, and service was EXCELLENT! CEO Kaipo Machado delivered them himself, and was very accessible to me to answer any questions I had. He even added a few nice touches to make my May Day leis look extra special at no charge :)
Overall, I was very satisfied with the service I received at Leis of Hawaii. Though the Unilocal deal wasn’t valid, the leis were beautiful and service was great, so I can’t complain. I appreciate good, local entrepreneurs and believe in supporting local businesses. Great job, Leis of Hawaii! Currently working on getting my refund back from Unilocal,but I don’t anticipate any problems with that.

We went to Oahu for my birthday this year and i was surprised with the Lei greeting.
They met us at our arrival gate (even though there was a quick gate change involved) with smiles and a warm welcome.
The leis were fresh and fragrant! I couldnt stop admiring them for days.
On our last day in Honolulu, we called them again to arrange for leis to take back with us. They were prepped, ice packed (with the necessary agriculture stamps) and ready to go.
We were so satisfied that we recommended them to friends who were going on a Hawaii trip a few weeks after us. Now they’re looking forward to a great start to their island getaway.
