KPHW-FM Power 104.3

I will give them a one star because I like to hear kc and taka talk about funny stuff, but the music, wow. I literally hate the fact that the same songs are played over and over again. So much that I sing them in my head while at work. I can’t explain how annoying that is. Why can’t we being some good music from back in the day on the station? 93.9 has those kind songs. I’ll take my chances on them.

My only complaint is that they should not keep saying how they play less commercials than 102.7. We get it, you want to be taken seriously in top 40 dance music. All that does is take away time from you playing music– get back to the music.
the music is good popular music. I listen to it just to stay current. It is not my favorite by far but I do like pop /​dance and I like being current even more. It does not take long at all to hear what the playlist is… it is a limited list of the most current music so I don’t have to wait long to hear a song I like again and again.
I do like the range– I can travel mostly across the island as normal and have radio to listen to all the time — which isn’t daily.

This is one of the various radio stations that I listen to whenever going out and about in the car doing errands, cruising, going to work in the morning, while in traffic, etc. I like the genre of music so yeah. The DJs on air are pretty cool. I do think that they keep their word in providing more music and less talk/​commercials in contrast to other radio stations. I like how they continue and promote themselves as still new like «The New Power 104.3» However, I am pretty sure that they have been around for a long time now so I think they can stop calling themselves new. I like listening to KC and Taka in the morning. They talk about some pretty interesting and funny stuff in the morning from American pop culture, music, booty calls, etc. The other DJs have their own segments and shows too at different hours of the day. The station itself along with the staff of DJs do a lot of events at the clubs and other things in the community. Sometimes they play old skool stuff but mostly modern hiphop and RnB.

you mean to tell me there has not been a single instance where you found yourself in your car or @ work singing along. so what if they play the same 10 songs or whatever, they do change on the regular. Also many people overanalyze shitz and suddenly transform into would-​be activists or conservative pundits who break down lyrics and complain about the trash of this generation. Plz chill. Here’s a pill.
Top 40 does not ask for much. If it’s not to your taste, you can FLIP THAT POWER SWITCH.

I don’t know what’s worse, radio commercials or commercials bragging about not playing commercials — «While the other radio station was playing commercials, we were giving you a 104 minute music hour.» That would be great, except you play the same songs over and OVER again. EPIC FAIL.

Don’t really care for this station. They play a lot of songs over and over. I remember a couple of years ago I heard them play «Party Like A Rock Star» five times in one hour.

i think out of 102.7 and 104.3 i prefer 104.3
they play a lot more songs during the hour, and they take it back old school… and when it’s around 10pm, they take it back really old school.

Another radio station that over plays Rihanna’s, «Rude Boy» and Bruno Mar’s «Nothing On You» till my ears bleed.
