Dr. Cardwell! My new dentist! I haven’t been to the dentist since 2013(I know, horrible) and was referred to Dr. Cardwell by my husband who’s been going to Dr. Kawakami all his life. I was supppper nervous going back to the dentist knowing id have some major cleaning and repairs to do. I was more surprised at their efficiency and up to date technology! I really thought to myself, «did technology in dentistry advance THAT much in the two years I haven’t come? Or is Dr. Cardwell just that awesome that he invests in all these great tools that make care for your teeth easy and enthusiastic!» There are cameras in my mouth taking pictures of all angles of my teeth! My pictures were super bad but I wouldn’t have known what was going on in there without them showing it to me! And no more standing for X-rays! I was so impressed! Had I been coming to Dr. Cardwell or Dr. Kawakami, maybe I would have been more excited or enthusiastic to come to the dentist. All previous visits tainted my expectations. Dr. Cardwells staff is also very friendly and professional! They always confirm your appointments a day ahead. They make you feel comfortable too. Dr. Cardwell I believe has TONS of patients too because if you don’t make it to your appt or you have to reschedule, good luck because he’s always booked a month in advance. Being that he has so many patients, he still remembers you! Talks story with you about family, and remembers what you told him before! And he talks before getting started which makes me comfortable! And yes, like what Ryan M. Said, he’s very gentle with his hands! And the dental hygienist are always super sweet and full of smiles!

I have to admit I was a bit nervous at first because Dr. Cardwell is a tall drink of water and I was worried he’d have massive hands. Fortunately his hands boast thin and dexterous fingers that make exams or procedures much more enjoyable than if Liberace were hammering away on your ivories. If you’re a bit neurotic like me, and Steve Martin’s character in Little Shop of Horrors is the first thing you think of when you think of the dentist – Dr. Cardwell immediately puts you at ease with his kindness and charm. He does a great job of getting to know his patients and genuinely cares about their lives, families, and health. Dr. Cardwell being a relatively young dude is also very much up on the latest technologies and procedures which is great considering all the aging dental practitioners around. Caution: Ladies and gays beware he’s a tall, dreamy, and handsome fella but happily married…
